How quiet is the Sony 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 DT SAM?

Here's a quick test to see how quiet focusing is, in a moderately quiet camera shop. Note that sound is amplified due to the A65 auto-gaining in quiet situations. Direct Manual Focus was also used - the focus ring was intentionally turned to see if it would be audible.



Pretty quiet, I'd say! You could only hear it if you put it to your ear and focused it. The full-time Direct Manual Focus is quite like SSM lenses - turn it without spoiling the lens!

You know where to find it - an important character is spotted in the starting of the video.
