How many megapixels are your pictures? I use all 16mp but I realise that its taking too long to upload. 21 pictures 126.7MB.

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Jul 21 2012, 10:17 PM) Well, urs 16mp and mine 24mp... U think who's bigger... 1 raw file will be around 24mb n jpeg is around 6mb... Use software to convert it to smaller size to upload online... For the camera to com transfer cant do much... Because I don't print large pictures. The most is 3R only. Maybe can use lower mp. See what the sifus say. |

QUOTE(moonwalk @ Jul 22 2012, 02:03 PM) lwliam thanks for your comment. Thanks for your comment. I admit I'm theoretical person. About practical... 3 words go shoot more. I would like to say... If I shoot blindly.. why shall I share opinion here? It's okay bro. SOME people in this thread are abit rude I must admit. Just have to get used to it. But afterall it's just a photography forum right. No point getting angry and sad over comments. Just ignore comments you dont feel comfortable with. Hope that helps. Thanks pull back your word... about post processing... you mention it earlier about instangram look. slap bang on a retro look and add some helvetica font. << I'm sure... you better idea and picture to convince me. Added on July 22, 2012, 2:06 pm sifu is sifu... they teach you with passion in photography... : ) Price wise... get sony alpha. Won't regret... : ) Added on July 22, 2012, 2:10 pm Your 2 cents... Added on July 23, 2012, 6:52 am QUOTE(ieR @ Jul 23 2012, 03:03 AM) yup. i very scare use tamron to shoot family potrait, the corner all will distort "very obviously" i rather use 1855 kit to shoot with less distort, and since family portrait is F8. Of course not you man. You're so nice! and, yea, hence 1650 has its value. 1. get well soon 2. great shot! first photo from you that has commercial standard! (tips: add in a tack more of contrast) 3. stick back with sony flash. if cant afford F58, then get F43 as long as u dont jump into big hall event, u are find with F43. upload to? (FB auto resize before uploading, so... not bothered) not sure your intention, its too warm to my liking. i still prefer pure white (balanced) zstan: this is your first and also final warning, dont bully ppl!!! kakakakaka! Fixed. i rather say, a photo must be 'clean', rather then Plain and Simple, because Plain just show boring, and Simple show laziness. Clean show perfectionist. but its my humble opinion, maybe you prefer your korean's teacher's quote. i hope that SOMEONE is not me michael9413: your street 'begger' photo are... ermmm... errrr.... ahhh... i cant find the word for it...... and...... sadly, (assuming) you werent with the sony alpha convention 2011. there is this one street master (which i missed his talk too) were talking about "3 Later Deep" inception style photography... and i bet this will trigger back many of members here to the idealogy of street photography, as it seem, few of our senior member also slowly have this "3 Layer Deep" slowly forgotten. lets see anyone who attended the workshop would be nice enough to 'share' again what was taught in this 'street master' class. (i kinda forgot who taught this 3 Later Deep concept) evankeat, is that liew? And urr, pictures uploaded to photobucket. Took me close to an hour uploading 21 pictures. And I'm using Unifi. QUOTE(fansoption @ Aug 12 2012, 01:09 AM) Owned it before. Not really interested in FE. Added on August 12, 2012, 11:03 am QUOTE(jimlim007 @ Aug 12 2012, 10:03 AM) arg, weekend again, thread sink again Definitely not worth it. All the sample shots for all diffusers out there looks perfect. For that amount of money? Hmm. I'd rather get a studio softbox. I have a Demb diffuser pro. Quite expensive also, but I got mine at a cheap price. okay, here are some questions about my last 2 days found one of the diffuser item for flash gun - gary fong lightsphere. I check the price over shinsinki seem it is not a cheap stuff for a simple plastic, having to say so a diffuser is pricing rm260 and pro kit is >rm650. understand the price so high is his own invention, by judging the before & after photo use lightsphere, it gave nice effect and it is seem very fit to me (noob-did know when need to rotate/adjust the flash bounce) as the flash just need always face up to ceiling. But does anyone have REAL experience of lightsphere diffuser in alpha flash? does this product worth for its price? someone hinted lightsphere is rely on the ceiling, but does this work for MOST of msia building ceiling (haha noob question), speak of imitation, anyone other brand give similar result but even more cheaper? I check at Dpreview, someone mentioned lambercy... also, does anyone use GF powersnoot as well, doing homework up front and calculating needed funding This post has been edited by Newbieeeeee: Aug 12 2012, 11:03 AM |

QUOTE(baoz @ Aug 20 2012, 09:16 AM) Hi guys, I usually won't suggest people to buy from Sony Malaysia. For a slightly cheaper price you can maybe get a body, lens, tripod, SD, cleaning kit & camera bag. You'll have to do your own research. Workshops are totally free. Don't get cheated by these 'workshop included' thing.Wanna ask for opinion about pricing. Sony Malaysia is offering Raya promotion for the A37 @ RM 1999 for body, kit lens, 8gb SD card, carrying case and workshop. 'til Sept 2nd. Is it a good deal or can I get something better elsewhere (if yes, do recommend a shop)? First post mentions that street price is RM 18xx but don't know what the package includes. |

Umm. If you hang the camera on your neck I think your body will receive more damage compared to your camera. Haha.

Hmm. A dslr is really toughly built. Seriously. We take care of it because we don't want even a scratch on it. But some wildlife photographers out there definitely knock their cameras here and there, many scratches etc but they still can use it. We have that typical mindset. We all don't want scratches because we want to sell it at a higher price next time when upgrading. We should fully utilise our cameras and stop thinking bout second hand value!
