The problem is tht I m in ktn. I can't really try it on... All I cld do was checking on the Internet .....

Bell's are very economical with beautiful design while hjc, nolan and x-lite are highly recommended in some of their models...... Decision decision.... Haha... Headache

Be very alert when you deal with helmets online. Many do not deal with size exchange, even if they do - you gotta pay for its logistics. Most of the helmet sizing charts ask you to measure your cap size. My cap size is 57.5cm, but on my Arai - I wear a S which is meant for 55-56cm hat size and it is a very snug fit. My other helmets is on M (57-58cm).

What I am trying to say is that besides your cap size, there is also your head size (position where you view your head from the top - birds eye view). 2nd thing you need to consider is also your facial contour. Just remember that we humans have different ethnicity and we have different head forms. If you want a good helmet with a good fit, try it on off the shelf or get permission from other bikers around to try their helmets.

So far, I have not bought any helmets online as I would want my money well spent unless it is a model of helmet I have owned before.

I believe icecolddamncold can vouch for this.

Thanks for all the input.

Currently I m with this local made grayfosh helmet... L size and it's ok.. But I m not sure if that's the helmet design or it's one size too large, all I can hear is the wind when I travel above 140km....

Now I m at the junction... Really don't know which way to go

yes truly.. never ever buy a helmet online unless u had personally tried an actual one on..

for my case, ordered a Shoei helmet from STG, anxiously waiting it for one month and when it reaches my hand.. put it on.. DAMN!! too tight.. i fit well on most L size helmet and my head circumference measured at 59cm which falls on size L. its not only the head circumference that u need to consider when getting a helmet, diff ppl diff head size and we'r saying round-oval or long-oval and bla bla bla.. diff helmet offers different compatibility to head sizes.

im in your shoes as well because of where im residing, hardly any descent shops to try on helmets.. thus i gambled on my Shoei at first and i lose.. gambled on another Xlite and bingo laugh.gif next, i dont want to gamble on my suits anymore sweat.gif going back next week to msia and get me fully geared thumbup.gif

however, u can refer to this website where i find it quite useful when u'r researching for helmets:

http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-hel...lmet-shapes.htm

get a rough idea of it.. but best is still try it on personally.

i have some question about engine oil, according to the user manual as well as service manual the suggest engine oil for blade 250r is 10w40 API-SL and above, but my mechanic say not suggest to use 10w40 and ask me to use 15w50 or 20w50 instead (he recommended motul) and warn me that if i insist use 10w40 the engine will more easier to damage, this confused me @@ can give some opinion on this?i dunno what oil ex-owner use, my last change was motul 5100 15w-50 and next oil change i plan to use pennzoil 10w40 fully, is that ok?
