Agreed, just ignore MF when u even have problem surviving. after u can comfortablely farm act 3, then maybe u consider MF.

hardly matters, with 5 NV stacks, ur rare drop rates are gonna be still decent with 10 base mf, progression/survival > mf

99% ilv63s are crap post 1.03.. there's no need of secret fix lol.. just that u might be one of 1% once in a while

If really want to opt for MF, just maintain 25% unbuff, then when you stacked 5NV will have 100%, better drop. Heck with this occasionally you can still get rare drop from normal mob.

Tried different weapon combination and seems that high DPS (~51k unbuffed) + Crit rate & dmg + Life Steal % works like wonder.

Managed to kill stuff in Act 2 pretty easily, but still having problem in Act 3 (most likely due to the low AllRes, since my DH doesn't have much of it in its equipments. ~500 AllRes only).

600-700 total all res + ~6-7k armor is good enough for act 3 if your dps is good

Those normal / not-so-retarded affixes in act III still okay, but those hard-hitting / troublesome packs with troublesome affixes (e.g. Hulking Phase Beast, or some elites with molten + firechain combination) = at least 3 deaths

dps good is quite subjective. it could very well mean kill the f***ers in 4 seconds of serenity + ascension rune LOL (which most "high dps" monks are doing btw )

Hmm, the burst-thing you mentioned is nice, managed to down some troublesome packs with 0 - 2 deaths.

Plus I guess I need to learn to kite a little even with monk (my mind's planted with the idea of melee = no need kite ).

Edit: Yeah, currently using MoC + Overawe, Blind + Faith, and Sweeping Wind + Cyclone for burst.

bursting no need kite. go in pop sere balls deep press 1-4 (me is 1+2 and mouse 4+5 lol) + left and right mouse button and pray the f***er dies before 4 seconds LAWL!

Haha, usually out of 3 pieces of them, 1 will down and the remaining two, very disturb

try to do some lining up/positioning for deadly reach lol. however if your dps high enough, FoT's 3rd strike is a lil effortless on aoe so long they are in front of you.

don't forget if CC+CD high make use of the cyclones. Those mini tornadoes are so nice to see, I had paired with reality88 and the lightning we generated are just simply awesome.
