Hello all pro monks...

Got some question regarding LOH..

I want to ask whether what type of damage/hit done by monk that will proc loh..

As I know, cyclone doesn't proc loh but what about:

1) sweeping wind itself??
2) MOE-backlash????
3) MOC-overwave????

Can any sifu clarify for me and clear my doubts...

for farming act 2 or progress act 3? If act 3 you need to make up your mind whether you want to go for LifeOnHit build or Critical Hit build (or both, if you got plenty of budget)
armor is ok but weapon is an issue to upgrade as you stack quite some dex there and getting a replacement is expensive.

i can't even survive act 2. tried solo act 2 and i get average 1-2 death per pack

That is unusual, with that stats you should be no problem survive act 2...
I can tank act 2 with 35k hp, 5k armor, 650AR.

Key: >40% Dodge with dual wield. Roundhouse kick + serenity when running into trouble. thunderfist +FoT to generate enough LoH to refill your health.

i susgest u try to up ur DPS to 18~20k.

use fist of thunder for fast LoH. use guardian path for dual weilding.

15k DPS kill too slow, somemore u nv use Mantra of conviction.

is mantra of evasion + backlash really good? also, i always solo, so i usually use an ally, that's why.

i'll try act 2 with this build then.

i'm using deadly reach + foresight coz with it i'm getting 21k dps.

it's very very hard to find a good weapon with 800+ dps these days. what's more to have good stats.

maybe u try FoT + MoC, overawe, i think the dps will better, + faster hit for LoH.

u got to sacrifies some stat for higher DPS weapon. before that i also in same condition, using 2XX++ dex 600++ DPS weapon, but now change to this 2 weapon, for higher dps, lost some dex and vitality.

i got the 2 weapon for under 1m in AH.

i can farm comfortably in act 2, and die a bit if farm in act 3 facing elites

You can try to get spear or mace. These are generally cheaper than other weapons.
Spears were quite cheap couple weeks ago.

Now the price for all weapon (including spear & mace) is getting sky high.

should i remove my MF? it seemed that MF is hindering me in AH

why would you even bother with MF when theres guaranteed drops off elites/major bosses and it f***s your stats over when you dont have even enough stats (considering you're having progression issues)
