Wah... Development of this scale would need huge local population to support. With current occupation rate in AI, i don't think its gonna to happen till most of the residential phases hv launched. Its more like 2020-2030 project. Do we prepare to hold that long?

Seems I&P is waking up from the long slumber and wish to give other developers a run for their money.

This is good news for consumers to have more choices from the healthy competition

Malls in suburbs that are run successfully today are 1) 1U bandar utama 2) Setia city mall am only taking these 2 Malls for example.............................majority of the daily customers/visitors are from outside the Taman..............people staying in these taman will never be sufficent to make up the numbers/crowds and sustain the profitability of the mall.

The key to it are......must be well run with ppl expert in mall managing......all outlets in the mall must be own by developer or their subsidiary and leased out.....then can control business-mixed.........

People from all over KV will come to visit and shop..........and also to experience the atmosphere.......however if lacking in things that ppl want and need......then visitors will drop in numbers.

So in this respect and IMO ...........I&P shd start work on commis and the on going residential new phases will also sell well due to the commis......

Alam impian is strategically located as part of Shah Alam, the capital city of Selangor. It is not a new location like Bandar Rimbayu which claimed or pretend to be near to Kota Kemuning, in fact It is near to Dengkil or CBJ. AI is also not a totally new location like in Semenyir, Sepang, or Kundang which is out of no where.
