wow offload essien? now we have less game no issue but what if comes end of december onwards? need a lot of players to cover in case injury and rotate due to exhaustion, suspension?...

i seken u my fren... that time no player to cope..full of injuries woes. below par performance la.... no depth..no good..
*
So, its ok we paying someone £90k/week just for backup?
Now, we already sign Moses and Ramires can be filled in as box-to-box midfield for now on.
Essien performance is already below par my friends, thats why Lampard, Mikel, Meireles and Ramires are ahead of him.
Four players fighting for two spots are more than enough.
I almost forgot..we also got Oriol Romeu.

totally spot on.
i'm also NOT OK to see essien is there on the bench without making a single appearance so far.
he's not cheap on wages.same like malouda, benayoun etc

so far he's for sure behind mikel, lampard, mikel & ramires.................& oscar

btw u19 lost the 'champions league' first match yesterday : 2-1.

You want sell also must got ppl want buy first ah, got ppl want buy also must see how much is offered, offer accepted also must see player want leave or not ah, is complicated but i wont mind ESSIEN staying as backup, dunno is because of our pay package too good or our squad harmony too good, player dont want to leave tongue.gif they prefer stay until contract end and get big pay rise transfer laugh.gif

That why i think is because of his contract that we might prepare to sell him, at the moment he does not seem exactly happy to pen a new contract as he dont get much play time but by putting a 25m price tag on him i think RDM are pretty much happy to keep him.

yup, that's the point. many says we've won it "lucky-park-the-bus" style last year, who gave a shite? we've won.

this year, i want us to win it again in more stylish way..let's get it start by sneeking through the group of death..

no no no, i prefer to take easier opponent anytime, be it CL, FA or League Cup so we can qualify easier and concentrate on other competition, meanwhile bench player and youth can get some game time also. Reserve as much energy as we can until end of season for those big games that really decide trophies.

No opponents are easy in CL group stage. Big teams always get eliminated by smaller ones. Chelsea must treat every opponent with due diligence!

Imagine if the group is like this...

Chelsea - Champions of Europe
ManC - Champions of England
Juve - Champions of Italy
B. Dortmund - Champions of Germany

agree with u.
main objective of group stage is to get top 2

easier opponents in group stage = can rest few players (doesnt mean disrespect other team)

like in few years ago where josh get surprise UCL debut vs MSK Zilina.

same goes to carling cup or FA cup.
sure want to use same-strongest-squad for each round?
