can u be certain hlb's/mach's billing system made mistake?

this is assuming your transactions in March is RM428.

that's your manual calculations, so assuming it was correct lo.

as comparison...

my Style spending was RM279.60 * 2% = RM5.59200. Gotten RM6.00 cashback.
my Dining spending was RM526.70 * 5% = RM26.33500. Gotten RM26.00 cashback.
my Retail spending was RM272.70 * 0.2% = RM0.5454. Gotten RM1.00 cashback.

i did ask about this split after i apply Mach card back in Aug 2015. till now, i never gotten split CBs.

i suspect this has been fixed.

best card to use, 10% cashback for movies purchases @ counter/mobile app.

even better if you are maxis one club member, tgv buy-1-free-1

imo, worth the addon RM5 fee/quarter for moviegoers

the tgv b1f1, u still need to pay the 1 tix anyway, so pay with Mach, get 10% back

from my screenshot, those tgv's RM13 was for 1 tix only

total RM114, 10% is RM11.40 but cb given is RM11.00

it's specifically stated in the T&Cs what constitute as "dining".

our human-way of determine dining is different than bank (system). how they advertise/market the "dining" is to be taken with a pinch of salt

"dining" is only applicable to MCC. this is the only accurate info bank can track to determine the nature of business that transacted it. bank (system) doesnt know which merchant is dining or not.

always always check T&Cs. not the company name. not the food/beverages they are selling. not the boss of the shop

no min spending to get cashback.

if this card got petrol cashback, it'd be a very popular card.

HLB Wise got pros and cons.

HLB Mach more wider cashback coverage.

be default you select 1 package (3 categories) = FREE

add other individual categories = RM5 fee per quarter <-- I added Movie 10% category, so worth the RM5 fee

why not try other channels?

You may activate your Credit Card via the usual channels:

gotten the replacement pin&pay card for Mach. normal mail, blue envelope.

same as some of you encountered: noticed the expiry year extended from 2020 -> 2022 in HLConnect
