quite tough to spend even more at other categories lo. e.g.

2% groceries, need to spend rm5k to hit max rm100 cb per category.
10% movies, need to spend rm1k movie tickets to hit max rm100 cb per category.

first time merchant (clinique) asked me to enter pin .

she said if my card is pin&pay ready, their terminal will ask for pin liao.

yes, the terminal requested for pin, then the staff asked me to enter. but didnt go thru since got connection problem later she changed to normal terminal with slip&sign.

normal la, sometimes merchant have 2-3 terminals lying around

since the cashback only posted on the 1st, it will be viewable in hlconnect +1 day after, i.e. 2nd of the month.

both counter and online eligible for 10% movie rebate. worth if you watch movies a lot, even if you add-on this package separately, still worth rm5/quarter.

when did you change category?

Mach's cashback got decimal meh? mine all round number.

1) do you have Mach card? what is the package/category you have?

2) if Tech is not your current category, adding it now will only effective next quarter, i.e. Jan 2017.

3) Tech category is based on MCC 5045 and 5732. gotta find out whether your previous HN transactions were under these MCC, call CS to find out.
