the best bet is to strengthened your chasis and apply better brakes....safety features...XD

Just wondering, would it be expensive to fit in a SRS Airbag into a non-SRS equipped wira? How about ABS?

if add air bag den gonna add sensor something like tat lo.. ABS ar... only the 1.8 version wira got it...

Find a empty field/road or something....
Drive 50-60kmh... den press on ur brake kuat kuat...
If u see ========= on the floor means no ABS
But if u see = = = = = = = = = on the floor means got ABS... LoL

i tot abs will not hav this=========

u check ur fuse box, c got the fuse on ur abs column o not.

u changing ur whole brake system to wira 1.8 brake system den will got abs d.

yupe, not all wira got it. in local only the 1.8 wira got. urs is oversea version den i think it require for enter market international.

mine UK spec also a showroom model...
but i dun think the ABS functioning...
cause from wat i know, even u step hard on brake, it wont lock the brake...
i got into an accident and i brake hard... it still locked...
do i need to check it up?

Hi guys I'm totally new in things about car.

Today I got my new Wira. After I done all the procedures I drove my car back home. On the way I found out that the tyres made very loud noise and no matter how hard I pressed the oil, the car still moving <20km/h. I thought that's because the car was low on fuel, so I drove to petrol station and refuel. But the problem still same after I refuel, the car was moving at turtle speed. I tried reverse also the same.

So i decide to drive the car back to the company to check. I wasnt far from the company but it took me almost 20 mins just to reach there. After i stopped my car I noticed a lot of smoke came out from the two front tyres. I asked the staffs there and they not sure what is the problem, something about the disc brakes too tight *MAYBE*. I left my car there for them to fix and one of the staff fetch me back home.

I am not happy about this. The car is totally brand new and I havent drive it for 5 mins problem already occured. I'm not here to rant about how sucks is Proton. I'm totally new in car matters and I'm afraid i was cheated.

Is there anything I must know about Wira?
Which part of the car I must take extreme care?
Which part of Wira that very prone to spoil?

All the sifus there please help me about this car. Your help is much appreciate. Thanks a bunch!

you r just unlucky,i think is the mechanic made some mistake on setup the car

Most probably the calipers are locked up, I wonder how can that happen.
