Sorry for not following the format, but I guess I will be more specific then.

Looking for a sexy 14" laptop that has 900p (or higher) resolution and Ivy Bridge. Current shortlist includes XPS14, Samsung Series 7, HP Envy 14 Spectre, self customised Dell Latitude 14" (but this is not sexy). Did I miss out anyone there?
Budget around 3.5k (so that makes XPS14 and Spectre somehow out of the league already).
Thinks that 13" is too small (as much as I really like Zenbook Prime and Air). 15" is too big - those that are sexy (nice design, 1" thick) are all beyond budget or no availability here.

Not sure about the chipset, but I don't think you'll see much of a difference in laptops?  hmm.gif

Maybe a tablet is better? More intuitive and straightforward to use, and can work as a boredom killer as well.

+1!
Tablets would be better picks since they are much easier to learn and use.
They're easier to bring around too thumbup.gif

(1) is newer compared to (2), particularly in terms of CPU and GPU.
(1) is also more powerful than (2) in terms of CPU and GPU performance.
(2) is already EOL-ed iinm, so (1) would be the better pick  nod.gif

EOL means End of Line/Life. It is not in production anymore. iinm means If I'm Not Mistaken.

New laptops tend to have attractive prices compared to older ones. That's why it is better to get the newer one  smile.gif

Well, I could... but the list would be too long for any brand of any screen size without any usage sweat.gif

Perhaps you can add in some usage? Maybe gaming? Movies/music?
It could narrow down the field biggrin.gif
