when will the next cycle of product come out? late september? also, are there any rumours which company is gearing up for what kind of laptop already?

Planning to change my N45 cause I'm not into gaming much. And I also need a lighter and longer battery life laptop for travelling purposes.

Just sayin if u have the budget for lenovo y480 (gt650 orange cover 2499) or lenovo y580 (normal hd 3399) which 1 should i get?

Depends what u need lo, if Y480 specs is enough for you, no point to get Y580. IT stuff, today u get the latest model, tomorrow outdated already. This just my opinion,

Wanna find a desktop replacement laptop. Therefore prefer 17" and keyboard with numberic. Not for gaming, for work, excel, word, listening music, internet.
Budget below RM2500.

spec wise, y480 have better cpu and gpu, but note that this model is freedos means you are going to need to install your preferred operating system on your own
