It has been a while since we got news of good deals by our forumers.

The best price I have found for 47LM7600 is RM4699 with 8 pairs glasses. Any one found better offers?

Please share the result of your bargaining skills.

Hello all.
Does anyone experience with backlight  bleeding for this series ? I've just get 42 LM6700, and the "bleed" quite obvious.  Yes, I do understand that the LED is EDGE LED but It's quite irritating for my eyes sometimes, especially when watching at night. Does this type of defect entitle to get a replacement ? Perhaps 1 to 1 ?

Sample pic almost similar to my LM6700

Hi vc0r3,

My LM7600 also have this back light bleeding. I suppose all similar. I check my old LG LCD also similar.

But if watch show with room light on, then it is not noticeable. Only when you off the room light.

I am not sure sure LG technician can resolve. Please update.

Thanks.

Ok...I'm finally back, after my IPad claimed warranty due screen issue. Missing a lot of pages.

BTW, the bleed is not a real issue for me since I already read it long time ago before I got my LED tv. I see it's simply an expected issue for most of the LED tv. As many here has mentioned, it's obvious during dim lighted surrounding. Just cut down brightness or backlight. LG LM series is the brightest 3D tv currently.
Thus u need not need to dim room light to watch 3D like the Active 3D version.

Passive 3D has more advantage than the Active counterpart. It's comfort glass, large group to view, easy to kids eye, more wider view angle, cheap maintenance free glasses or easy to source, it's the trend, no need to dim light, close HD 1080p view and many goodies that suit particularly Asian family.
Don't listen to all the rubbish salesmen trying to influence you to switch to Active. A friend of mine almost got convince to buying an old stock Samsung Active 3D tv which SenQ trying to dispose when he is keen to get LM 6700 series. He told him that polarized 3D glass is bad for eyes particularly kids. It strain the eyes. Quote that 3D passive is no longer popular. While 3D active glasses is cheaper ...yes is cheaper now as its not compatible to newer active 3D model units. Is RM 150 per glass is cheap? It's old stock.

In the end, my pal is one very satisfied owner of LG LM 6700 unit for his room view. He is so impressed that he wants to get a larger 55' for to replace his Panny plasma unit.

Should be base on the file format only. I can watch downloaded 3D .mkv movies direct from the USB tv. So far cant watch Avengers 3D .iso file size about 40G.. Havent try with any player yet(mine AC Ryan)

For full SBS mkv playback, there are some success stories with popcorn hour a-400. However I wouldn't recommend it due to its firmware not being mature enough yet. The link to the story is : http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=64064

Personally I use popcorn hour c-300. The player can play full sbs but the tv output is all wrong (distorted picture). Just gotten myself acryan hd 3d a week back. Haven't gotten around to test full sbs on my lg7600. Will report whether success or not. FYI, some 3d bd isos couldn't be played with this player. Will investigate further.

I just got back from HomeExpo in Ipoh. the price for LG LM series is as follows.

47LM7600 is only RM4300+ with 3D camera some more. Real good bargain.

47LM 6700 is only RM3,400 with x tra glass set + wireless keyboard.

42LM 6700 is only RM2,600 only.

Those from Ipoh head to the expo. U won't miss this LG corner.

I don't download files, I play my collections of bluray via 3D bluray player. Yes I got real good bargain of Ori bd from Amazon Black Friday deal.

Worry not, even the LG apps is loaded with demo 3D stuff.

OZAK, there not vast different between both models. So if u prefer watching in large screen, then go get LM6700.

Take note, 3D is not about large screen to enjoy its glory. U will not be able to jump into the screen thinking larger the screen the nearer to the real thing.
