another fun fact, video auto focus only works in 1080 and 720p,
any lower res, wont have auto focus when recording. no idea why also.

Guys my 32gb sd card got fried after I got Asphalt 6 on my sgs2. When I was playing the game and the phone was quite hot. Do you think the sd card got fried because of it? The card is dead, even the computer does not recognise it.

Just want to know /k/'s opinion before I go get another card.

what brand? got warranty one, can go claim from the shop you buy.
try claim before waste money go buy.

SD card brand is Transcend. I am sure there is warranty only thing is i already threw away receipts and all. Only hope is the shop assistant recognises me and is willing to help. Good thing is SD cards are dirt cheap now.

What concerns me is if its the card problem or the phone problem.

all micro sd got lifetime warranty,the one with receipt is only a few months or 1 year,the one that you should have do is contact the repesentative of trasend here in malaysia,so you can claim your lifetime warranty

p/s:you have to have the box also,since there are serial number there

It seems like non G version will have to wait a bit longer to get CM10 if possible..looks like our G version cousin got better luck this time! time to swap my phone with my wife's G version la.

bro, most of us early users of s2 ALL play asphalt 6 as it is FREE and all never heard of sdcard fry. i play Fast 5 and that was super hot, the screen nearly can scald my fingers ad, lucky i using accelerometer to drive and the phone cant charge fast enough to keep playing non stop and my card still working, sandisk tho, so claim warranty and next time choose a reliable brand

it should be free thru samsung apps store. i think sdcard free is not related to the apps 100%. may be you sdcard got problem meh? try and find the receipt!

Yes. Normal. That's because our S2 doesn't use the full lens for 720p/1080p (they only crop the middle part). Hence, to prevent shaky video, use 720p.
