Have been using cm10 since yesterday. Pier v2. All I can say I didn't encounter any of the weird problem those guys are having, apart from Google now not so smooth, can be jerky t times and of course hwcomposer.

I just flashed my friend's g version to cm10, my god it's so Damn smooth!! T. T

But then again, even their cm9 is smoother than ours.... Haizzzz... Closed source suxxx

Since you can turn on your device, you can use program like droid explorer to browse and safe your files. Never used kies before, but you should be able to use it to safe your contacts and other data. It wont wipe anything unless you flashing a wipe rom.

Thanks for replying.

Can I download that droid explorer on my lappy and connect the phone to the lappy through USB to transfer the files?
Without having to touch the phone?

Thanks

change to wanamlite 12.2 as my main rom.

RR2.6.1 have some issues. everytime the battery hit about 60%,
it will just unable to wake, stuck at deep sleep.
after restart, it shows having 5% battery. weird issue. i dismiss it as rare occation.

but it happen consecutively for 3 times already, gave up.

hope wanamlite wont have clock freeze issue.
and oh ya, the battery monitor works well with siyah,
duno why it screw up in neat and sensation rom.

doh.gif. Can you try and root first using odin. You dont actually need to touch the screen when using odin and download mode.

Oh..... Erm...
I have no clue and no balls to root.
And is it even possible to download odin and root the phone without touching the LCD?

Odin is for PC, so nothing to do with the phone. To use odin your phone just need to be in download mode. No need to touch the screen for that, just the button combo.

BTW, since you are on ICS, you should be able to connect using MTP to pc. That one dun need to press anything one right?

Anyway, try droid explorer, maybe will work without root.

My tunang's S2 bottom part dipped into ais kacang.

Now: it can't charge, speaker died, mic died.

Do I have to replace the whole mainboard?
