btw RS-17 = NP9370 ?

ILLEGEAR RS-17 is equivalent to Sager NP9170 (from the same manufacturer).
The only difference is ILLEGEAR RS-17 is starting with AMD Radeon HD 7970M and Intel i5-3210M config.

The refreshed EM series will be called as SM.. Example: P170EM->P170SM

Anyone NP8130 tried to upgrade the OS to Windows 8?

CLEVO still has not putting up any Win 8 drivers for P151HM1 yet, I really don't know whether I should upgrade or not...

Running out of time soon, since the Win 8 offer gonna end at 31st Jan 2013....

I contact my reseller (RJTECH) for BIOS, and here's the response.

There's no bios for P150HM (NP8150), and I can't use Windows 8 due to keyboard map changes.

I have to press shift + " to create @ instead of standard shift + 2.

So, gonna stick with Win 7 until new BIOS is released or until Win7 completely retired.

You can install and test Win8 in virtual machine (VMware Player)

hmm, everything seems fine when I test run it as a guest OS with VMware....

My main concern is on the keyboard and Wifi compatibility...

Anyone know where I can get a replacement fan? I accidentally broke one of the fins on mine. Tried to reattach it with glue but it didn't stick on for long. Now I'm hearing "zzzzzrrrrtttttt" noises coming from the fan with the broken fin. :|

I used some weak glue because that was the only one on hand at the time. Better just buy a new one rather than keeping it. Sure thing. Thanks.

hi guys may i know what application that i can use to test my RAM? The thing is i just experienced my first BSOD on my NP8130. I rarely shut down my notebook and usually left it hibernate ( so that i can continue working) But this morning it failed to come out of hibernation and there s a nice BSOD . Any way to test it out?
