Swapped the HDD to a 512GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD. Scorching speed from this one!

Fantastic sales service from the Illegear team. They've helped installed the Samsung SSD into the RS-15, installed Windows 7 Pro on it and elaborated on the calibration profile done and how to activate it.

I absolutely love my RS-15, solid built and currently installing Crysis 3 and 3DMark11/13 on it to bench. From AJA speed test, 515-520MB/s on the SSD, I'm plenty happy! rclxms.gif

they are ivy bridge processors. when the processor mentions 3rd generation, it means ivy bridge.

example : i7-3840QM. the 3 from the start is the generation, the rest is model and the QM stands for Quad core Mobile perhaps.

Hi Stringfellow,

Great specs you have there! May I know the GTX680M idle & full stress temperature? And how do you comment on the ventilation fans' decibel during the full stress? smile.gif

Hello! Does anyone know about shipping details from US to UK?

Am planning to order a Sager from US and not sure whether I should ship it to Malaysia or ship it to UK directly, since I am currently staying in the UK.

warranty service is pretty good but extending it might be a bit pain. you might want to ask the representative PrinceJ about it to get best price.

budget RM3000 get can Illegear RS-11, basic spec.

sager is a US company and originally based on clevo, a taiwanese computer company. there same goes to illegear, the only authorized sager laptop reseller in malaysia with their own clevo based products which is named illegear too.

their on-site warranty support so far only supported in KL, Johor and Singapore.

with RM3000 budget, you cant get cheapest 15" model except if your budget is RM3500-RM4000.
