QUOTE(nick_vll @ Jul 9 2012, 01:01 AM) I also use HopShopGo to preorder the 16GB. This is the actual break down assuming that shipping weight is less that 1KG.Nexus 16GB - USD 249.00 Google Play shipping charge - USD 13.90 BuyForMe Services Charge - USD 24.90 ShipForMe Freight Charges Express USD28.80 Insurance .065% USD 2.63 FedEX Fuel Surcharge 12% USD 3.40 Total USD 322.63 So assuming exchagne is 3.25 RM1048/= So the local bulk purchase @990/= is actually very cheap. We may also have problem with custom so better keep my finger cross. jackdon. |

Looks like local bulk purchase pricing is not bad.

If not mistaken, Google is announcing a new price for both 16GB and 8GB versions...
Hopefully, it's getting even cheaper. |

Hopefully Asus will bring this in and price it reasonably... Better if can get the 16GB variant below RM900.
Dream = Nexus S + Galaxy Nexus + Nexus 7 + Nexus Q |

^ About the screen.
It's actually more common than you think. Only Sharp IPS designs seem to avoid that issue. Most LG and Wintek (who make the Nexus 7 screen) displays have it. It's just a matter of waiting for the display to gain some temperature, then the image retention goes away. It also becomes significantly less pronounced after a few days of use. You can also see it on a few handsets, but you probably don't notice it because smaller 4 - 5" screens tend to heat up faster. About the camera. I've never seen anyone hold up a tablet to take pictures before, tbh. Think about it; if you're outside with your Nexus 7, you'll probably bring your phone along anyway, so might as well use the phone. The only potential loss of functionality I can see are with augmented reality apps, but those aren't common at this time, and probably won't be for a while to come. |

read a few article online, all of them saying that ghosting effect is caused by response time n refresh rate...
anyone who know the actual reason? at least clear the doubt of ghosting effect... |
