That is not the point. Main purpose of brake lock is to lock the brake and prevent from changing gear.

Whether can start the car with or without pressing the brake is not an issue. The wire switch is there for the user safety only in case try to start the car without unlocking the brake lock first. Not to prevent theft from starting the car.

the brake lock just lock ur brake pedal to prevent u press brake

no need press brake can start car means no mean press brake can change gear smile.gif when the switch is not detached to pedal

any acc shop also got sell d...just stop the beeping sound and air bag still funtion ma...no wire cut also smile.gif
Just wondering what if during that short trip, hit smth or being hit by smth which trigger the SRS. Will the impact crush the driver face? Normally SRS is to compliment the restraint function of the seatbelt. But without it and the purpose of disabling of the SRS has been compromised, the direct force of SRS fast deployment has high chance to hit the driver like hitting the ground face on from a few floors instead of cushioning.

Just my 1 cent and concern for road users on the risk of circumventing a safety procedure which takes up a lot of factors to be proven safe. Accident is smth unpredictable. No one involved in an accident know in advance it will happen to them until it's too late.

the thief can manually depress the brake switch by using his finger (not stepping on the brake itself) and start the car (if he has the remote) , only thing is that he cannot apply brake after the car moved..is this correct? maverickng.

Nice to hear yours and maverickng car problems solved or partly solved waiting for vendor appointment.

I have to wait till my current projects cool down first and find a loan car at the same time, before i can admit my silver bullet to SC. Now, i also don't know which SC is better...SC taman Maluri or COE?

SA at b.maluri sc is ok...but feel like theie rules not tight...
tat day at sc,i can walk around the service area and no body brother about me...even when the CAT member there, they smoke around the service area,am i also follow smoking at service bay...no ppl come stop u or advice u to go smoke at smoking area biggrin.gif lolzzz

when they rest time...none one of at service area...i freely go around and look this there and other ppl car that service at there...imagine that a thief sneek in while resttime... rclxub.gif

yap, more and more Preve's are on the road now. Just now, i was at PJ New town, I saw a white Preve parked near maxis shop. saw a blue Preve parked in front of HSBC and a silver Preve parked near Hong Leong bank. With my silver bullet, all got 4 Preve's in one area. Hopefully, Proton have improve on its QC, AQC, RQC, whatever QC, so less Preve will be recalled back to SC.

Speaking of Red..

Just now around 6.30pm, my Silver Bullet cucuk one Red Ferrari on 'S" mode on kerinchi highway to Mount Kiara Plaza turnoff. At that time, there were not many cars on the road. Both of us are on the fast lane. Everytime, the car in front of the ferrari move to the left, both of us will tekan kaw kaw. This happened about 4 times. Everytime, when the ferarri tekan, fuyoh.. shocking.gif you can imagine the loudness of the ferrari exhaust sound. I can hardly hear my car engine sound..Should have installed the on board camera and let you guys hear the fantastic ferrari exhaust sound when tekan kaw kaw. A very rare experience indeed. tongue.gif

What is the L/100km and your average speed displayed on your meter?

what is your city and highway driving percentage?
