I don't think we need engine break in for Preve smile.gif

Anyway, anyway know how can I disable seat belt alarm?
A bit annoying when I just one to go to near shop but need to wear the seatbelt..
*
about brake in the engine, up to you...its your car not mine..i myself i do it for every new car and motorbike i owned, and im happy with it whistling.gif ..

then i can said u are not smart enough, because if u ignore and not wearing seat belt, so airbag will not deploy when u crash in accident..
thats the problem with malaysian mentality..only wear it when see police around doh.gif ..
example for Waja owner, many said the airbag not deploy during accident, after investigation..most of then didnot wearing seatbelt... see? then said waja imported got better safety then waja for local car.. brows.gif

go to shop nearby? buy a cub lorr or walking for few minutes.. because u waste your fuel when u warming up your engine for few minutes..

user posted image

haizzz..got this ohh? shocking.gif then, better buy a car without airbag ohhhh?
i myself very particular about safety... even ride a cub to buy something i use helmet .. donno when our malaysian mentality will change..

No need to be so harsh Pokemon smile.gif

I raised the same issue before in this thread and all otai said the same to me. Also, it's nowhere mentioned in service booklet smile.gif

I think, I didn't say about "only wear" when see police. I said about nearby place. Nearby my house is just an example, a lot other example such as going out for my lunch at my workplace, when it's just 5 - 10 minutes drive.

Buy cub and walking sound good but is it practical when you buy a lot of goodies or big items :?

It's nice to hear that you are particular about safety, but as stated somewhere in this forum before
"Some people just particular about safety accs rather than drive safely"

maverkng - Is it available in any car acc shop?

my car have wind noise at A pillar so i thought. like whistle sound when reach 90kmh onwards

read in FB it might be sound from the air-cond vent. when I off air-cond air circulation there is no sound from A pillar.

Proton might want to have closer look at this and resolve it.

Took me 1 half hour to get this done. Installation is very straight forward. Just that the space to work is almost none. Have to crawl under the steering wheel. It helps if you have small hand and use small tools since got no room to turn the nut. Also make sure to tighten everything..mine got strange air leaking sound from the brake after install. Need to disassemble and install back...but after that everything works thumbup.gif

Of course you can always ask the shop to install for you

Not connect since Preve cannot start if brake not press. Some car if brake not press can still start the engine. In that case need to connect the wire to prevent that. Preve no need.

That is not the point. Main purpose of brake lock is to lock the brake and prevent from changing gear.

Whether can start the car with or without pressing the brake is not an issue. The wire switch is there for the user safety only in case try to start the car without unlocking the brake lock first. Not to prevent theft from starting the car.
