Civic 2012 Ass ... old design.. dunno wat happen to H designer..

any Preve owner planning to get the spoiler ( for those that bought lower spec ) or pedal lock installed?

Hi, Im silent reader since V2?? (cant really remember). I got my car last saturday, CN 8XXX white. So far, im satisfied with my car. just some minor issues here:
(i) gluk gluk sound in rear seat(near speaker there)during braking or turning corner, maybe the plastic is not installed properly.
(ii) heartbeat during P.
(iii) No alarm is triggered if front doors are not closed properly when lock the car.
(iv) flimsy glovebox
(v)heavy brake dust
If anyone knows the solution for the issues above, pls let me know.
I think Previans should have reverse camera as the rear spoiler is higher, quite difficult to see (im bad in reverse man @@)
Since the sluggishness issue is due to the wet clutch characteristic and for the FC consideration, it is acceptable for me. although it's a bit awkward when im the 1st place in traffic light...
I like the CVT aeroplane sound much. so i wont include this in the problem list.
I believe my car can actually hear me so i will talk to my car, but im forced to park my beloved under trees(no more parking slot in my house), very hard to keep it clean T_T heartpain when seeing all the leaves(very small size) covering the body.
Hmm, although im new, wish to join TT if given a chance. I know there are many nice guys here. Special thanks to Jerie, regarding the prevoc fb approval.

hmm dunno how to explain the heartbeat, some of Previans pointed out this before. ;o
The glovebox drop fast, just put the yes 4g inside, not that heavy to make it drop fast right >.< and hard to close it.
i doubt QA is doing the job or not. hope they not only monitor the QC for foreign stocks, oso take care malaysian market. they give tons of hassle to 1st batch buyers.
For those who still consider to make the buy decision, Preve worth its price. and salute to 1st batch buyers in LYN, you guys are the 1 who make proton to improve.

my 10th petrol running full tank around 482km remaining 50km petrol blinking.

Today i just pour in Ron 97. Around RM130.++ 46 litres. petrol. full until can see the petrol already cannot fill anymore.

no more hearbeat feel. when press abit the power delivers alot. alot of different. i think i will occasionally pour in ron97 to take care my car. next time i will try V power. maybe not 100% 50% ron97 and 50% V power see if can go further with better power or not.

Added on June 28, 2012, 1:37 ammine also same...the front door not close properly. can hear got lock sound twice...but no alarm activated even wait for more than 5 mins...

sorry for late reply. On ur prob, hard to diagnose, but try ask them to check the battery terminal recall earlier on and check the oil control valve(ocv). Hope this help.

Since a higher octane eliminates your car's 'heartbeat', does this mean it's just engine knocking?

Lazy to read, may I know how to open the DRL or it's auto

Unfortunately its not a DRL, it's more like LED light only.

If u set it to auto, it will light up when its quite dark edy like 7.00PM onwards. But it will not open when it's 12 in the afternoon.

U may switch it on manually by switching up 1 time from "off". But do note that this also make your tail lamp on.

wow... it seems that i am a bit outdated huh... huhu...
if that's the case, better not waste time looking for the harness.. can ask the guy where he fix it...
probably the installer have the connector or know how to mod the connector to include the female RCA input...

*updated* anyway, was informed that the owner who did the reverse cam linked to the stock HU had shared his info on the other forum.. probably can go ask him how the shop did it, rather than we go and look for the harness... since it is already a workable solution..

tks en.Mat79.. i just send my car to sc again.. hopefully no more problem after this.. chitchat with the technician he mention there's 1 preve in the sc has "wiring" issue has stuck there for 2 weeks.. from 1000unit products, how many normally has defect?.. is it 100/1000?
