i think of the forte b4.. but got qc problems even since CKD model..

dashboard rattle, pull the left issue, windshield cracked for no reason, water goes into fog lamp, air cond not cold enuf.. ><

so i think is normal for a new car like preve to have defects  ^^

if you can wait till next year, forte 2013 will be launch, hopefully naza brings in CBU.

i think all those brand, as long as it's CKD, quality affected

Although our LED tends to look like the one for Lexus CT200h...
I always confuse cuz they almost look alike...the positioning of the LED...

But i think u will void the wiring warranty...
U can try to source where can we get such thing installed for our car...
I'm sure most of us here would like it...

but i went for a test drive  last sunday.. truely awesome.. fall in love with the car

but just some QC problms.. and its holding me back..

but anyhow..

i still prefer to wait for preve! hopefully the batch later on will suffer from less QC issues

that problem only apply to early 2011 model i heard, dec 2011 model onward is ok, how i wish i got that money for sure i go for forte.

forte 80k++ - got problem but can be fix.
preve 60k++ - got problem  can be fix also but night still younbg, might nid wait sometime for the problem to it fixed.

best rule of thumb is never spend more than 1/3 of your net salary for monthly loan repayment.

*updated* anyway, was informed that the owner who did the reverse cam linked to the stock HU had shared his info on the other forum.. probably can go ask him how the shop did it, rather than we go and look for the harness... since it is already a workable solution..

For the Kenwood camera + installation charges, RM280 seems a negligible price to pay . This other hidden price is kinda heart wrenching.
