hi guys, being a bit bz bee rite now. Sorry to hear the hassle u guys have to endure, i hope they manage to solve all probs.
On the tyre side,to be honest, it is not the most silent available even compare to cc5, but it is worth for its price in term of performance vs price due to full silica compound. It is noisier in bold compare to preve. About floating, maybe check the tyre pressure coz iinm the front n rear has diff pressure.
On mapping, iinm, only the response is being modified n torque model. But it takes time to make a balance between emmision cntrol n response plus to intergrate with tcu from punch n also testing also needed before releasing such update. It wont be as s mode coz in s mode rpm will raise 20% more than d mode, if same, can consume fc a bit more.
If some notice, if using cfe manual mode(slot to left) or iafm+ sat button, initial acceleration is a bit better than full cvt mode due to fixed ratio given even simulation. N knocking also less felt due to fix ratio.
Coz it involve pwrtrain n driveterrain together, so, many things needed to test n validate. Since wet clutch based cvt is still new to the user, so, sluggish feeling is appear. Coz when develop the pwrtrain combine with new driveterrain, they tried to tune according with some benchmark cars on how its behave n still meeting target emmision plus fc. Hopefully they manage to deliver the new fine tuning that satisfy all.

from what ive being informed, the tuning for engine for manufacturers are not the same as aftermarket tuning coz many things needs to adhere n calculate. It not just plug n play like that. Thats why even cps on exora has diff tuning n final drive than neo,gen2 n waja cps. Even it is widely known the changes are to made cps give better response on initial acceleration, pickup n better fc for exora, but why not using the same setup for neo, gen2 n waja cps coz will give better pickup n fc too to them coz lighter than exora. But things are not that simple. Me also hard to digest the info, what to do, just a layman.
I know some of u want to feel the engine a bit, so, while waiting any update on ecu update,i did ask on the best method to sprint from standstill. Maybe this can help u a bit. Just a bit. But i need stress this is not promoting any illegal drag or race or cucuk2, n do this when the road is clear.
When stop at traffic light or any road, n want to test the power of the engine, normally we let the gear at Drive mode, hold the footbrake, n when the light turn green, release footbrake n immediately press the throttle.
(By the way, u will notice when holding the brake in d mode at standstill,the rpm is about 650-700 rpm compare to neutral@park idling at 800-850 rpm. This is because the tuning for punch cvt to save fuel during start stop condition by lowering the idling rpm when in gear n clutch is nearly open. There is a slight delay for the clutch to fully close n rpm need to get back to normal idling. Therefore, after releasing the footbrake without pressing the throttle, u will feel the car creeping slowly n rpm from 650 will jump to around 1100 rpm by itself without pressing the throttle.)
so, for preve, what u need to do, after stopping ur car,still standstill, engange handbrake, release footbrake. After this is matter the most, wait untill the rpm rising by itself at 1100 rpm, meaning that the clutch is dragging, nearly fully closed, since handbrake is engage, the car wont creep.
When the rpm is at around 1K to 1.1k rpm, release the handbrake n press the throttle to max@pedal to metal(u will notice the rpm needle move slowly to redline becoz entering slow sat mode). Hope this will help,even a bit.

can u lock the car remotely when the front door not closed? Iinm, u cant lock the car if front door not properly closed n iinm as well the signal will flash more than one time to remind u on that.
Iinm.To change one door unlock to all doors unlock, press lock n unlock button together in 2 scnd, the mode will swap. Do it near the car to change the setting.

dear dark adam, i dunno whether this help. Since they already change ocv, If u car stall in neutral(N) idling, ask them to monitor the voltage during idling especially when the a/c compressor kick n check idling tuning when a/c is on.
If it is idling during drive(D mode n foot on footbrake), ask them to check the oil clutch pump for cvt.
Hope this help.
N if service the car, ask for 10w 30 oil. Maybe that can reduce the vvt sound during cold startup coz iinm, oil only retain for 24h, then it been drain. Unless the sound is prolong during startup n everytime start, will have the same sound n its longer, then its owv issue. I think prtn already recalling those who own certain engine batch that using old owv to change to new one even the owner doesnt have probs. Maybe can check with i care@ cose on those who are effected n needed to change.

i dunno what happened coz need to rush, dont really have time to read older post. To whom has probs with the light n afraid the battery will run out, just unplug the fuse related to light, then it cut off. Hopefully this help
