I think you should state the situation clearer.
What did the seller do? Add in another 512MB?
A 512 ram for a DDR1 is around RM 70.
If it's DDR2 then it's cheaper.

I have a small question.

What's the difference between Kingston and Corsair? Is it Kingston is value ram while Corsair is quality ram?

Wanna asked, i recently add on 2GB Kingston RAM on my Dell XPS M1330 making it totalled of 3GB, how do i check if the RAM is really 3 GB other that looking at the Window Task Manager?

Just the brand different.
Kingston Value Ram (KVR) is value ram.
Corsair Value Select (VS) is also value ram.

Dun worry about it.... I'm using tracers and I dun seem to hav any problems.... Also, this ram is also OCable.... Very nice to hav....

Me also looking for OCable RAMs in case I need to OC my proc kao kao.... Heard OCZ Reaper and Patriot Viper also not bad..... If G-Skill, I think I will be looking for 1066MHz 4GB.... biggrin.gif

Darn.... I just drool at the PI Black 1000MHz 4GB kit.... drool.gif

But for now, I think I need to hunt for casing 1st then think of rams.....
