y480 got msata ? it's possible if we use adapter sata to msata so we can use the ssd + hdd + dvd drive..  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
i know y580 got msata slot behind the hard drive bay.
Dun know about y480 but probably got since in the maintenance guide, got list out msata port.

but the space enough for msata only, not enough to slot in a full size ssd.

ai yah, if you put your hdd using caddy to dvd drive bay and use your dvd drive as external. problem solved.

got cool area for hdd
dvd driver put into laptop bag for when you need it (use usb).
ssd no heat issue ever.

so good so nice biggrin.gif
sudah potong brows.gif ?

Guys, comment on gaming performance with y480? Not interested to find review out there, want some real gaming experience. Looking forward to get y480 for decent travel gaming device. More on games like Civ IV & V, The Sims, GTA IV and probably some FPS like BFBC2 or MW3. Thx for the reply. smile.gif

Ic, 30 frames is enough for racing games but for FPS still barely, TBS like Civ should be good. smile.gif

30fps for racing games is still quite bad TBH. Should be looking around 40fps+ smile.gif
