Haha, of course still can use.. If temp too high you HD will die easily.. Did you check how much is your HD temp?

for windows version ...win7 inside hidden recovery partition

yes only 1 disc driver is provided but u also can download from lenovo website as well

DOS version : NO Win7 OS and NO Win7 CD..only driver CD
WIndows version : Preloaded with Windows 7 home premium 64 bit...NO Windows 7 CD( all loaded inside recovery partition)

the spec of y480 is too awesome drool.gif
but the laptop cant fully utilize due to hardware..must get a ssd for the laptop to achieve max performance.. thumbup.gif
