Actually no, but I did see his signage at one of the houses, maybe 71 or 72. I get persistent abuse from stilux, yi seng and kb.

Added on October 24, 2012, 8:11 pm

hmm... he is doing a job next to my house. No comment  whistling.gif , but I will try to seek external contractor until no hope, then go to him.
*
huh? sorry, do you mean he has no idea how to relocate the pipes, pump, and the filter? Most external contractors that I spoke to either has no idea how the harvesting system works hence no idea how to do the relocation; or there is one who sounds like they know but charging >3K to do that..

Sorry, your " whistling.gif " is about his common renovation work, or his pipes relocation work?

True enough, the letter was in my mailbox yesterday.

So for final disbursement, do you guys chase after the bank or just wait for the bank to advise the final drawdown?
*
You may give the mortgage department a call, but I doubt that would help.. So just let the bank do their job, the most important thing for you is to take down the date the letter was issued/received so that you know who to blame when late payment happens..

I think the bank will not wait for us to take VP before they release the first portion of the loan. For my case, the bank released first before I take the VP...

I thought workmanship has to do with the particular contractor taking care of a project or a phase within DA. Except the useless water harvesting system they put into the house, I'm pretty satisfy with the build quality in my Fern II unit.

and I would think that Inovar is a good choice too for their varieties and workmanship. My house's laminated flooring (not in DA) was done by them..so I was quite happy to see their product being used in my new house now..

Noted. The price I posted was after discount. My bad. But judging from the materials used, Aster Grove will be better with more Electrical Points. Any idea if SH comes with 3 Phase wiring?
*cut*
My Fern is 3-phased equipped, hopefully the rest of the phases are too..

Hi there.. just wanted to ask if anyone has used desmond, silux or the main con for their reno?? wanted to know their workmanship quality.. thanks
*
why not just show up in your unit, they will come to you 'automatically'. Ask them to bring you to their show units and see it for yourself instead of hear-say.. different ppl different expectation - that's my experience.

Is 'mild steel hollow single strip' the same as normal hollow mild steel (since they are both 'hollow') ?

In Fern, most contractors quoted not more than 4K for whole house (intermediate) for standard hollow grill.

I always thought DA is a GnG development.. But why u said most probably will never b GnG ?  hmm.gif I thought GnG usually come in once the formation of owners committee.
*
Typical G&G is Desapark city.. DA is not. Even if we form a committee it will just be guarded and never be gated with perimeter fencing..

AVFAN's note is talking about subsales right? not about rental... Rental of my house should still entitle me to report defects I suppose??

Not sure how accurate it is, but you can roughly see where Aster Grove is here

The concept of relaxing DA appeals most to the older gens and not really for youngsters (If price is no issue). More greenery & relaxing environment
*
+1. This has always been the pulling factor for DA..

Haiyahh..No brainer la.. Most of Fern Laners I guess was waiting for atleast the project of MT,AG,MG,ST and WP to complete first as this whole phase are considered one area part of Denai Alam.Dunno why they kick-off Fern Lane project too soon and not almost together with these neighbourhood.
But the rest of the completed project look healty to me (community wise).
*
heh.i thank you SD for the early launch of FL instead... otherwise, I doubt I could get another DL house there below 600K... cool2.gif
