I will need cctv in the house for sure.. one that has integrated email alert in the event of an intrusion happens... DA is an open concept design, eventhough with FL's so called 'single entry' concept I would like to see who is standing right infront of my main door now or even before the gate.. These CCTV lets you define the area which u think u want them to trigger an email to u...
rough estimate, 2K for 3-4 high res. cameras with a 500GB central console..

hmm...i wasn't sure i was told it is a Single Entry, or 'CAN BE TURNED into Single Entry'.. Darn if it is not ALREADY a single entry. When u said main road, is that the main road of DA or the FL's phase?

when the people say the house size is 25"x75" for example..does that mean the 75" is including the porch?..I always thought its not
*
included..that's the perimeter of the land you own.. smile.gif from your gate till the perimeter fencing at the back i believe.

Yup,

Got my letter yesterday as well. But I think its gonna be a few days for the financier to disburse the final amount before they sales office can issue the letter for us to collect the keys.

Funny they only give give 14 days to get it all sorted out before absolving liability on the handover.
*
yes, I found it strange too why only 14 days from the date of the letter.. .sounds to short isn't it.. I don't remember such a short notice from my previous purchases...

Going to inspect my house tomorrow! Will be bringing personal QS and contractor. lets see what they say.
*
Do update us again after the inspection?

My bank has yet to disburse the final payment, so I guess DA won't let me sign the VP yet huh?

I heard that klang has plenty of gangster contractors who warn outside contractors for getting jobs in their territories, does that happen in DA?

I believe so long as the original architect drawing of our house, perimeter of the build-up area remains intact then we are OK.. Otherwise it has to get approval kot..

There is a reason why in general perception the sand bricks are cheapo.. The price difference already determine its quality unfortunately... I don't believe sand brick is used in low cost apartment simply becoz it is harder to break, and I can hardly see any decent developer using clay bricks for those budget properties..

So that the Fern Lane'rs like us can opt for Auto-Gate System..... tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
*
The fold-able gate has its con, the surface where the stainless steel (i hope it is s.s!) bar laid on the ground must be 99.9% flat, otherwise the motor will get koyak easily when the surface is not 100% flat and it has to use extra force to push the gate out.... blink.gif
