Hi, I'm getting the keys to my Serista (double frontage) very very soon. Bought it sub sale.
Anyone staying on the same row? Jalan U16/46 ?
Fencing up for security is very favourable.

QUOTE(endroog @ Sep 2 2012, 08:50 AM) Hi, I'm getting the keys to my Serista (double frontage) very very soon. Bought it sub sale. Welcome to LYN DA community...Anyone staying on the same row? Jalan U16/46 ? Fencing up for security is very favourable. As much as perimeter security fencing is favorable, the hardest part will be to get the buy-in from your felo' neighbours...It would be great if you can survey with your felo' Serista neighbours on thier take for this step. |

Clay bricks and Kalsa bricks is harder than sand bricks lahwhich means, the sand brick is tougher rite? Heat and sound insulation is much better. Many unaware that at least 50% of the heat is transferred fr roof top, it is good to use clay roofing tiles for landed property, the color last much longer than coated concrete tiles. |

There is a reason why in general perception the sand bricks are cheapo.. The price difference already determine its quality unfortunately... I don't believe sand brick is used in low cost apartment simply becoz it is harder to break, and I can hardly see any decent developer using clay bricks for those budget properties..

Hi there, I'm staying the same road with you, just moved in not long ago.... perhaps we can pm each other? I fully support perimeter fencing!! Anyone staying on the same row? Jalan U16/46 ? Added on September 5, 2012, 1:42 pm QUOTE(Xai-V-iaX @ Aug 28 2012, 09:36 AM) Anyways, I managed to get hold of this one architect + ID via my usual contractor. He says this guy has got some strong links inside MBSA and approvals shouldn't be a prob (for the major reno works)... Do let me know after u meet up him yea.....I shall talk to him first and maybe arrange a meet-up with him prior to sharing his contact here (Just to filter his real capability & business ethics)... QUOTE(Xai-V-iaX @ Sep 6 2012, 02:45 PM) The fold-able gate has its con, the surface where the stainless steel (i hope it is s.s!) bar laid on the ground must be 99.9% flat, otherwise the motor will get koyak easily when the surface is not 100% flat and it has to use extra force to push the gate out.... |

Lemme give you some ideas:No idea yet xai.. hvn't got a time to think abt what I shud do on the house yet..hmm. 1- Auto Swing Gate (faster compared to foldable) 2- Extend Kitchen area (The Planters' Box shall be replaced - Unless you're an really GREEN person) 3- Base up the Roof Top Garden to become a balcony. How does that sound? |

You give a roof top garden and then put up a grille to deny access to the garden.Anyways, not much of a issue since you'll be able to remove the grille near the Water Pump and then just do up grilles around the roof top to create an simple balcony. |
