I moved from being only 5 minutes away from my office and the kids school to about 30-35 minutes. That if we leave the house at 6.35am to reach the school about 7.10. Used to that already, and love this neighbourhood to bits;)

I was at FL yesterday....checking out my unit and also the corner house in my row that was doing some renovation. Bumped unto the opposite neighbor of mine who coincidentally just finished doing a house warming function. Was having a chat with a few of them there...young couple am guessing BUT didn't know who was the owners

Hi guyz, hope to get a quick advice...

Im currently looking for a Double Storey unit for own stay and came across few in Denai Alam.. It's seems to be a nice plc n workmanship it quite good..

But when I started asking for the price, I was kind of ... Since almost all ranging from 750K - 850K, but during the launch it was only around 500K onwards.

Looking at the rental value which is so low n compared to the amount im gone end paying to bank wic will be 1K more easily every month, is it still a good idea to look for a unit? It seems to me that the price is already at the highest/peak moment, as 300K appreciation in 2 - 3 years is way too fast...

I can also say due to the Safron Hills 2 launch, the price was increased 50K by most of the Agents since the new launch is smaller and has to wait.. Safron supposed to be considered as future price but wonder how come all the sub-sale units are also carrying the same price tag... Some of the unit only 2 months ago were going for 730K (Nego) n now 790K, im talking about Verdania..

Anyone has bank valuation for Verdanai? I'm afraid bank valuation will never be close to current 'Market value'..

I'm new here and had been living in Fern Lane since the past 3 months, we were among the first 5 occupants.. However, we are just a tenant. Are we eligible to join this group and discussions? Or is it only a closed group for owners only? :-)) Please advise.

Just would like to add on the security.. since we've moved in, we had installed an alarm system (since our owner only provides the back door grill). Though we know it is not secure enough, at least that gave us some good nights sleep.

Last night our alarm triggered at the main sliding/ glass door at the living room (never happened before at that zone), our security provider helped us to alert the nearest police station and soon after (about 30mins after, luckily there's nothing suspicious happened) a police patrol car came and make a round (that was around 11.45pm - 12.15am), stop at our place and get in touched with us over the phone.

But still we feel insecure as our lane had always been the main route for most of the foreign workers to the shop area (shortcut via Clover towards the small roundabout). we can't help being exposed to them plus outsiders who has been driving slowly 'admiring' fern lane's units on almost every weekends.

Lately, the garbage collectors only work when we lodge a complaint. there was one time they only collect after 3 weeks, after our neighbour and us lodged many reports.

One more thing, if any of you plans to move in soon, make sure you climb (or get someone to climb) to the roof top, via the 2nd room's bathroom. Just to check if there's sign or future opportunities of intrusion. One of our neighbors found someone's 'bedroom' there, perhaps some workers doing reno works next door. We are very concern when hearing that since our daughter sleeps in the 2nd bedroom, and we havent install any window/vibration sensor to the room.

And yes, the contractors and workers have all the access to most of the empty houses. even we've seen an indo guy going in & out, lepaking in our next door's house. That was before the gates were locked (or tie up).

we also have some bad experience with the contractors since we are still doing some minor works in our house. so, we kinda know who is reliable including those main con staffs/ workers.

Defect, at the normal places. front porch Roof & internal leaking from our master bedroom toilet, which gives a big mouldy stain at the wall above the staircase.

It is good if we the tenants also could have the access or to be invited for any meeting concerning security or any happenings in FL.

Do let us know how do we get ourselves in touch with this group.

If I am not wrong, the balai polis and fire station will be built right next to e-boulevard close to the high tension wire.

well back to the most basic issue. Is denai alam security worth the value. Now cases are rising in 91/92 roads
