No need la. If ppl ask, just say you were dyno-ing
I read at the Neo thread, the R3 supercharger is around RM12k incl. installation IINM. But like I said, rumours oni  hmm.gif

12k ... shocking.gif shocking.gif

Well, that temptation was short-lived ... sweat.gif

QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 21 2012, 03:14 PM)
I bet your friend didn't dare do 200 km/h any more after that incident

Anyway, after all the recent talk about front strut bars, I found this:

*
Actually he still flies like the wind. laugh.gif
Nolar, the lot of us don't normally speed that crazy. Only if it's necessary and that particular day we were really rushing.

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Jun 21 2012, 03:24 PM)
sometimes we never realize we drive fast bro.

im a driver due to event working field.. go here and there.. almost half of the time im with this company.

for me bigger cc car like my company triton.. when u speeding 180 feels like 110-120 only... but i always double triple check everytime when start journey and when break during journey.

tyre is the main thing. is either your tyre can tahan your driving skill or not.. thats why people invest with tyre..

im impress with my flx se due to smoothness.. the power is there.. i got what i want.. just i cant fight with those people at starting line or traffic light.. the cvt just to.. hahaha..

dares, poison me more for that strutbar from mahihi.. i still got time to change my mind cause im installing the ultra racing this saturday smile.gif
*
I gotta agree about the tires, man. Your entire 1 ton car makes contact with the road at only four those points. The whole car depends on this contact to actually work properly and safely. So tires and their maintenance is one area I choose not to skimp on.

I dunno how to poison you also, other than the obvious 2 more mounting points on the part-of-the-chassis-on-top-of-the-enine-bay-behind-the-wheel-well  whistling.gif

more points = more parts of the chassis to share the load. I am curious why UR don't have 4 point FSB for Saga, they have 3 point FSB for Persona that mounts to the firewall also  hmm.gif
*
Maybe because they think the Saga is an ah pek car, so no need so keras or canggih punya front strut? tongue.gif

Actually, if I remember correctly, the Saga chassis does have higher torsional rigidity compared to the Persona and Iswara chassis'.

You really have balls of steel man. Slight flick of the wrist can mean instant death. I still remember sitting in my friend's car at 200 kph. Some idiotic van moving at a snail's pace cut into the lane in front my friend's car. Obviously he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings when he did that. My friend flashed him oso he insist on cutting in.

Confirm cannot brake in time. Sure die edi wan. Lucky that section of highway got extra space between the fast lane and the road divider. Else I'd won't be here posting on this forum edi.
I thought you drive like unker? tongue.gif

I really am tempted to add a supercharger ...  hmm.gif How much do they normally cost ar?
*
The problem is, ur friend @ 200, maybe that 'slow snail' adi @ 110km/h...maybe for him not slow adi... ohmy.gif

Look at our Saga engine bay is too pack @ firewall area, i try observe and observe last, can't figure out which place we can install 3rd point @ firewall, thats why i scratch my head when i saw the half-disclosed-expected-firewall-mounted-4-point-front-strut-bar-picture but actually 2 more mounting points on the part-of-the-chassis-on-top-of-the-enine-bay-behind-the-wheel-well... laugh.gif

Aiyoh, who posted it oso I don't remember edi ler ...

I very forgetful wan .. I'm just an unker driving an unker car ... laugh.gif

Anyways, that might be an explanation why there was no need for a 4/3 point strut.

Well that might be true, but he still should be looking in his mirrors before cutting like an idiot, or notice a car about to ram his ass and flashing him non stop. And judging from his speed relative to other cars in the middle lane, he couldn't be that fast either.

Your observation might have a point either. They realised that the Saga was already solid, and there was no room at the firewall for a 3 point, only room at the sides for a 4 point. So they probably decided it was cheaper and easier to just stick to 2 point.

I dun get 3Max, do they not realize the importance of branding? They don't even have a proper website (do they?), they don't do many roadshows (if any) like UR does. What gives? are they completely relying on their customer's to spread the word? Look at the amount of time and money UR invests in popularizing their product.

No offense to mahihi, if UR had a 3-point or 4-point FSB, I would have chose UR, since I have no idea what is the difference in quality. THAT is the power of branding.

Just my honest 2 sens.

+1... nod.gif

I search over net, can't even find a proper website for it.

I will say wrong if UR do all just to popularize their branding. They give us informations and pic too.
Remember that the link i gave before? UR jack the car at right front and cut the middle of FSB to show how much tower strut flex during underload...

This test doesn't make me feel UR is superb to reduce this flex, because outcome we also dun know, but at least they show us the evidence chassis does flex alot during hard cornering. So they can convince me, at least UR can do this test and i assume they already have countermeasure for it. Trust me, that link really change my mine alot.

Compare to 3max, no test result, no test method, even cheaper, so?

No offense to anyone, if u happy just go for it. I have no choice because i stay @ Johor, and it is not as easy as stated before to DIY, u need a proper tools which i dun think normal person like me will have.

She hasn't driven it yet. She drove my dad to the showroom to pick it up and he drove the old car back. She doesn't want my dad to teach her, hahaha..But dunno la, maybe in the next few days she'll change her mind. I'm supposed to teach her when I go back though.

OK then.

Remember, jerking at low speed (<40km/h) is NORMAL flex.gif Just imagine driving a manual car at first gear and adjust accordingly laugh.gif

Hahaha, alright, noted, thanks man. I'll also update here once I've driven it. But talking to Dad just now, he's actually happy that he's gotten more than he paid for. He felt that it was a good buy, and trust me, coming from him, that IS DEFINITELY a compliment!!
