wan ask, last time n8 many people encourage to use opera mobile browser because original browser sucks...

how about 808?

and i also need see GPS start up time for n8 and 808 to do comparison XD

on the browser, short answer is yes, you still need Opera or send to Sympaper.

The first generation iPhone (circa 2007) with way less RAM and processor is 100 times better and smoother than it. after leaving nokia several years and coming back to it, i thought the browser would have improve significantly but no, it still sucks big time, laggy, crashes, checkerbox all the time eventhough it was built using the same Webkit as iPhone and Android. So thank goodness for Opera, not ideal but still save the day.

Original browser gooding, tried it.
But I still prefer Opera tabbed browsing , and Opera Mobile 12 performed well, very well:sweat:

gps saw somewhere review under 1 min with cold start without A-GPS... so I assume FTTF is good but now the curious part would be the antenna sensitivity (where the usability in KL congested high rise building area)...

nope, as it seem most rangers like no interest to bother about the mail...

Dunno what to write actually, was still thinking but since Prakash already replied the mail, so didn't write. But we did highlight verbally to Thomas that day, and they knew our interest in on the 808.
As for the challenge, the recent challenge is.. erm... not ideal...

The black is smooth and the white is ceramic right? The white looks nicer, in pics and real life. Anybody got pics of both side by side? Not the commercial photos but user

if this is real and from history of nokia releases timeframe, we are looking at earliest 6 months from now..end of fall = nov/dec when winp 8 releases..only problem is with this leak is that the phone looks more like a croc shoes than a phone

but my gut feeling is 80% this leak is real, whether its a prototype or finish product...it looks too weird to be fake.

yes, but only the black looks good, both white and red look very plasticky..the red one worst, doesn't look like those sleek chilli red of canon ixus but your toilet plastic red bucket kinda red...

Most likely will not have 41MP; Read somewhere WP have few limitations.
Plus, the camera module and not sure what else will be different.

The 808 PureView will become the "marketing" for the WP version.

Then again, who knows, maybe technology advances and something better is available.
