Yes, the ad-hoc is the main issue even paid-premium version. Only Symbian and Maemo/MeeGo smartphones able to connect, but even on premium version, some services cannot be used (e.g. MeeGo built-in upload service). I suppose there's still some restriction even on premium version.
Since ad-hoc only, can't share with Android and some other device, moreover this need to pay; whereas Android tethering is built-in.
Agreed. The ad-hoc only mode is a big turn off for Android tablet owners. I'm a pc tablet user, so no worries there. Guess it still needs more work / better app. Nokla y u no develop ???

i think there will be another update to the fp2 released last week, further tweak on the noise and focus for 808 camera (via twitter)..thats why it was pulled
I've read it somewhere that in FP2 update, the camera became slightly noisier and the focus is a bit off at times than in original firmware...Anyone can confirm this?
If its true and nokia didn't change back meaning they want to promote lumia 920 so that the difference image quality between both phones are not obvious.. But then again, maybe that's why it was pulled out.

asked the pureviewclub guy to do some testing on these, he will be posting something soon. As for me no time to do any test but so far no different whatsoever to fp1...maybe im too engrossed with the awesome new UI
i ll check with few nokia engineers for confirmation too

Good stuff. For regular video user and point and shoot advocates, I think 920 is ideal. Very practical in realife, not to mention its full HD but only just the mono audio which is a slight problem really.
I have this usb pendrive that apparently uses a lot of power as 808 warned me. Keeps crashing my S2 when used on usb-on-the-go but never crashed 808. 808 can handle high powered usb pendrives it seems.
still scratching my head,,not sure whether wanna buy 808 or S3? but i heard S4 wanna come out already feb next year...any advice? my priority of a phone now is only these: 1. camera 2. whatsapp 3. viber 4. large digital qwerty 5. converting the phone as a hotspot for my laptop & ipad
