Nah. A camera cant directly upload to fb/flickr, dont have gps and Nokia Maps, dont have usb on the go, dont have fm transmitter, dont have bluetooth and cant connect to bluetooth headset (which I used to watch movies at work combined with usb on the go). All of those I use quite often nowadays.

I learn something the higher the megapixels when you size down the shake is not very visible it's only obvious if enlarge it very big

i have a 550D..but sometimes in the case of 'sos' situation adding with low light condition,,you need a on-the-go camera coz i can't bring my 550D anywhere..but like sifu agito said,,if ur hand shake kaw²,,the result of the pic is horrid..as my hands are okay,,but maybe i have to ask some random people help me snap pic,,their hand confirm shake kaw²..i tried S3 the camera,impressed by it also but in low light condition,,kalah kaw² but for social app,,S3 won hands down..for the ipad case,,very mafan to bring along during volleyball & gym training,,thats why my head turns to S3

aiyoh, see la he already has a S2, got ipad somemore.
all those functions to him are completely secondary now since he can also use most of them on those devices.
his main aim looks like a decent camera...so imo its still better to get a decent camera for the same money as 808.

btw, the nikon s800c which is android powered has wifi...so can upload to fb/flickr, got gps, can use google maps...and whatever else android apps got

I suggest u to take lumia 920. coz soon will be win8 era. pc win 8+tablet win 8+phone win 8=GG

should be as long wp8 not a let down for most people like wp7

when i got my 808, i thought i would sell off my S2.
but i decided to keep both, cos my S2 works better as a mediaplayer when hooked up to my TV
and of cos the fb, watsapp on android is better written than on symbian.
i really hate it when on the 808, after closing fb / watsapp, and then close the data connection...a 'mobile data off, no connections available' crap keeps popping up over and over and over and over again preventing the phone from going to standby...even if u kill the app from appstop or whatever.
of cos can always keep the data connection on but it just kills batt.

+1 most fren/sempai keep their 808 becoz of the camera, else long time throw/sell off already lol

that is what i scare the most..symbian is not good in doing multitasking..confirm lag n suddenly hang & crash..dangerous~~~

so far only 2 apps for me causes random crashes.
opera mini, which i think is due to certain pages loading once in awhile...and the phone just auto reboots.
and waze, whose crashes when it happens are even more irritating that i have to remove batt cos completely hang.

try update belle fp2?

throw away your 550D, get sony RX1
or nikon D800/ D600, or maybe canon 6D...

then get s3... camera sound not so important to you, it is not like S3 sucks to max...still decent la. just not good compare to 808 of course.

like you need high megapixel to crop or do heavy edit or something? usually we just snap and upload right? not even bother to edit colour etc all the time?

i dont think belle fp2 is going to fix that.
even on my old nokia running symbian s60v5...opera mini also crashes once in awhile

not bad camera phone for most normal people, plus it take the pic quite fast, but if compare to n8 or 808 mmg like heaven and earth lol

last time i tried taking pics with my S2, the distortion pissed me off on some shots.
its not even traditional distortion like on wide angle lenses, its like the distortion that u see when u enter like a circus mirror fun house.

+1 oh ya totally forget that fact.

SIII still have very bad distortion when you close up human face in 2/3 screen of s3....then get 808 or 920 better

snap pic ofkos need edit ba sifu agito..but depends on mood oso..if paid,,then edit properly...if not paid,,a little to NO edit will do...lol~~~

i lazy edit all, DSLR one need because old tech and inaccurate AWB.
N8 one i almost no edit. ><

summarize for me:
- got DSLR, but not always bring out
- got ipad/ laptop for big big screen confortable surfing, but duwan unplug sims for whatapps
- want apps.
- want decent social apps , SIII is choice but camera is not so good.
- want 808 but social apps is not so good.



how about buy a big arse camera bag throw all things together. no need go gym already because carrying those weight also can train everyday
