After getting rid of some bloatware, etc etc..I got it the physical memory down to 30% while playing Dota 2..so, I guess it's okay now smile.gif.

New proud N56VZ owner reporting in. Definitely an awesome and eye-catchy, this one it is. biggrin.gif BUt lets cut the chase. I got a problem with the left speaker - buzzing sound, I read from prev pages that some of them had the same prob. Normal or I send back for exchange? hmm.gif

Just got my hand on it today tho

I think you should, I checked mine..and I don't seem to have a problem with my left or right speaker D: *or maybe I'm just deaf*

lol I think everyone does. My 4GB is on average 50  smile.gif
or you save your startup items (use CCleaner) and let us see if you can disable unnecessary things?
you can disable some auto startup services too, or if you think it's critical I suggest you use Soluto  blink.gif

it could be possible that your volume was too high/the music pitch was too high..or in some cases..your speaker might have "cracked"?
I'm just assuming..or maybe it's just some random error ~~

Hmm, I'm not sure as well, just hope it wouldnt be a problem. I also have to agreed to about all of the users here about the touchpad on this gorgeous. On the left side its kinda "sink" in, while on the right, pop up - higher than the wrist rest

The speaker problem only occurred when playing high frequency (lady singing high pitch; something like that), normally there isn't any buzzing sound. About the delay, I think i5 should be powerful enough for the machine to run smoothly, but I suspect proly your ram has been eaten up by some background running apps. Have you tried removing some of the useless Asus' preinstalled bloat-wares? Those things eat your ram, make your lappy boot-up time longer, and a waste of space.

Maybe you try re-installing the touchpad driver?
I have a problem enabling and disabling my touchpad for the first day,
but after re-installing it's already ok.

Got my asus n56 i7 for 2 days.

My speaker tend to distort in some songs, and i found out it is due to the MAXXAudio software problem, U will need to keep changing the MAXXAudio settings in order to get the best audio quality for different type of songs.

For my touchpad, it pops up a little on the upper middle, nor left neither right, i guess mine is normal ? >.<

Overall, the laptop looks very very beautiful. So far, love it very much.

Hey guys, I just created this account because I just ordered the N56VZ i7. Saw a lot of bad review about the touch pad, buzzing speaker, youtube crash, auto restart and all. And over heating too. Well, this really bother me a lot. And the after sales services is well known sucks right?

My question is, are all the problems still there? Does this awesome looking model works well after all?

No worry if ur laptop got most common problems like buzzing speaker or bad touch pad design, because these do not cost a big problem.
