New proud N56VZ owner reporting in. Definitely an awesome and eye-catchy, this one it is. biggrin.gif BUt lets cut the chase. I got a problem with the left speaker - buzzing sound, I read from prev pages that some of them had the same prob. Normal or I send back for exchange? hmm.gif

Just got my hand on it today tho

Hmm, I'm not sure as well, just hope it wouldnt be a problem. I also have to agreed to about all of the users here about the touchpad on this gorgeous. On the left side its kinda "sink" in, while on the right, pop up - higher than the wrist rest

Guys about the n56vz speaker problem, i once had this problem too.
Cause : I think 1 of the software I downloaded and installed.
Solution : I just system restore my n56vz i5.

Aiiks about my i5... sometimes i click on icon it tooks few sec to open up the program..like delay  shocking.gif
maybe i should choose i7 processor hmm.gif
any 3088vz user having this delay problem?
*
The speaker problem only occurred when playing high frequency (lady singing high pitch; something like that), normally there isn't any buzzing sound. About the delay, I think i5 should be powerful enough for the machine to run smoothly, but I suspect proly your ram has been eaten up by some background running apps. Have you tried removing some of the useless Asus' preinstalled bloat-wares? Those things eat your ram, make your lappy boot-up time longer, and a waste of space.

Added on August 22, 2012, 10:23 pmBtw matte and gloss screen? Any diff? Blur ><

Simply say:
1. Glossy - like a mirror, u can see yourself on the screen. very annoying especially when there is light above you
2. Matte - the opposite, you cant see your face. nice for long time staring on ur lappy
