I got it at 2699 with 1 chapalang wired optical mouse and upgraded to 8GB ram.
I think additional 4gb ram is more worthy than those free gifts. hmm.gif

the laptop sleeve is hard to find in Malaysia, you can try to find any 15" model around Garage Sales there hmm.gif
and ya the aluminium lid is easily smudge, every aluminium has the same thing, so I bought myself a leather pattern transparent laptop skin tongue.gif .

I wanted to change my N56 to SSD and I need to reformat it. Asus didn't provide the Window 8 serial number and those apps like powerdirector and other apps that come with it. I do not have the installation disc as well so I have to download it myself. Any way to solve it?

to get your windows 8 serial number you have to register yourself at http://www.windowsupgradeoffer.com/ with your laptop purchase information biggrin.gif
all those apps i think you have to find them at their own website. I'm wondering do you really use those apps?
for drivers you can find them at Asus website with latest updates though

Didn't know about the aluminium thing.. sweat.gif

About the laptop sleeve, I just scared that 15" sleeve won't fit, I found 15.4'' but never bought it cause scared won't fit.

What's the safe zone for the temperature being cap at? Like 90C?
Because when I play certain games with omfg graphics, it will heat.
I am worried that it might spoil.

Thank you smile.gif

90C is just about right. Usually my GPU will hit around 70-80++ playing omfg graphics games.
