Awesome. I was going to spend this weekend figuring out how to use my own router in place of the Thomson, but thank God someone beat me to it!

This should work with a WRT54GL, right?

Hmmm... okay. I will try anyways sad.gif

Also for OP, regarding the VOIP SIP settings, here's a dump of the output from telnet from my default config. Not sure if this will help or not.

721      SME_vlan
821      MGMT_vlan
822      VoIP_vlan
823      VOD+BTV_vlan

CODE

:eth bridge vlan iflist
Vid      Name            Bridge interfaces (* = untagged)
---      ----            --------------------------------
1        default         OBC*, ethport1*, ethport2*, ethport3*, ethport4*, virt*, WLAN*
2        dummy           Eth_WAN*

You can grep the info by telnetting to your thomson using the Administrator id.

Every router will work, no VLAN tagging function is needed in Router as we have removed the VLAN tagging from TM's Modem! Thanks for the information, i will figure out how to migrate VoIP and your information showed that VLAN 621 is for Internet, VLAN822 is for VoIP and VLAN821 is for MGMT (don't know what is that haha)~ rclxms.gif

I think MGMT should be for Management? Possibly related to the Maxis "we can hijack your router for Maxis Hotspot" clause lol.

I'd like to know if I can use Apple Time Capsule as router?

Also, I hope you'll find a way to connect the phone directly to TM's modem instead of to the Thomson router.

And err... for landed installation.

Would not say it's lousy. It's perfectly usable apart from the fact it runs pretty hot, the management interface is slow and confusing, there's a lack of customizability, random hanging, no QoS options and a pretty bandwidth.

Sorry, I just miss my awesome Tomato-powered WRT54GL sad.gif

i agree, once i put my notebook cooling pad to it, low down the heat, working pretty well now. Ventilation and cooling is important, just fully utilize the 2 ports for usb lor.
