I'd like to know if I can use Apple Time Capsule as router?

I hope you guys will find out very soon on how to connect phone to TM modem without Thomson router. All these bad feedbacks about Thomson router make me nervous. I need the phone and I don't want to have to use 2 routers :S

So is it possible to ask them during installation to configure the modem to use the VoIP? Or will the modem settings be automatically reset everyday anyway? :/
