You can spend so much day on Hoi An means you like history stuff.  6 Days or 5 Days, You can explore Hue. Experience Vietnam famous "Renification" train from Danang to Hue. Coastline scenic view are beautiful. Hue are Vietnam ancient capital.

Hoi An is more about culture than history lah biggrin.gif

more questions...

I am not interested in the Marble Mountain and the Monkey Mountain. Ba Na Hill is a bit expensive, so may also give it a pass.
What else do Danang has, other than the Dragon Bridge, the Pink Church, and the beach  hmm.gif

I am considering 2 options...

Option 1
6D5N - with 3 nights in Hoi An, and 2 nights in Danang

Option 2
5D4N - all 4 nights in Hoi An, with day trip to Danang

Please give me some ideas  icon_question.gif

no forms needed. Immigration software are more advance than Malaysia. It can record all your passport details when the officer swipe and they do away with manual forms and app

Halo,

Planning for a short getaway 4D/3N to Danang + Hoi An in April
So far skeletal plan as below
Day1 (Friday): Reach noon, head straight to Hoi An for hotel, go for the night market
Day2 (Saturday) : Walk around Old town, go one of the beach(?),Hoi An Memories, see lantern release.
Day3 (Sunday) : Early checkout Hoi An, find a way to get to Ba Na Hills, go back Danang for rest of the day, Dragon Bridge at night
Day4 (Monday) : Walk around Danang(?) , flight back evening.

Feasible? Feel like i'm missing out some stuff in Danang, but not sure what else I could add in.
Skipping Marble Mountain, assuming its....Batu Caves?? (sorry if im wrong) notworthy.gif

Day4 flight is around 4pm. Not sure if there enough time for a morning trip to Hue?
I usually pack light (no luggage), so should be able to breeze through customs i guess.
Actually if i decide to do Danang first, I could insert Marble Mountain on the last day (going to have to figure out the transport arrangement then)

Day1 (Friday): Reach noon, Walk around Danang(?),Dragon Bridge at night
Day2 (Saturday) : Early checkout Danang, get to Ba Na Hills, head to Hoi An in the evening and go for the night market
Day3 (Sunday) : Walk around Old town, go one of the beach(?),Hoi An Memories, see lantern release.
Day4 (Monday) : Travel back to Danang, Marble Mountain, head to airport for flight back.

there's an entry fee to enter hoi an ancient town
u can buy the ticket at multiple entrance but there are loopholes but i suggest you don't explore that loophole because there are people going around to check your ticket...they don't look at it properly but they just make sure you have it

I'm planning to visit Hoi An and Da Nang late Febuary 2025. Just bought the flight tickets.

No itinerary is set in stone.

Hoi An - 2 Days 1 Night (Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection)
Da Nang - 4 Days 3 Night (Hilton Da Nang)

Perhaps a day visit to Hue by train, followed by a return journey to Da Nang through the breathtaking Hai Van Pass on a motorcycle.
