thanks michaelchang
is the electric bike kid friendly/allowed to ride with the parent?
any chance you could share transaction-wise .. if they prefer digital form of payment or cash, am not sure how much cash to exchange before going over - am guessing roughly 500K VND per meal for a fam of 4 should be comfortable? so min. 1.5M per day on meals?
any particular con/activity to avoid - eg pickpocket, gypsies, and those rose/bracelet con job @ Paris / overly enthusiastic "gladiotor" at Rome, that charge a bomb AFTER taking photos..last time travel without kids can navigate a little easier, now gotta be extra wary

1) Yes, kids can ride with parent (I usually carry my Gf)
2) Vietnam are still cash society for foreigners
3) At Grandworld, I don't eat breakfast , Lunch approx 80K-150K/person, seafood dinner cost approx 800K - 1 million for 2 person
4) Vietnam are a lot safer than Europe but occasionally have some petty thieves and pickpocket if u are not careful. Phu Quoc are much safer than HCMC because not crowded and no reason for someone come too close to you.
All activities that I went do not have "hidden" charges.
1) gondola ride
2) cable car to Hon Tram
3) sea walking
4) The Quintessense show (night)
5) VinSafari and Vinwonder
6) Teddy bear museum
There are also free attractions during daytime and night. Check with Klook for ticket price for the above attractions
I highly recommend Vinholiday Fiesta hotel (best location at Grandworld) and behind the hotel have 2 shops that rents electric bike (I negotiate for 350K for 2 days rental) can get cheaper if u were to walk further inside Grandworld as some offered 300K for 2 days
