Better experience since there are a lot more pixels on the screen and thus everything looks way sharper. But beware that GTX660M would not be able to handle 1080p games like Battlefield 3 at high settings. Expect low to medium settings only smile.gif

After watch this video the resolution really does not affect much, only the settings

are important .....Since GTX 660 cant handle well in 1080p,so i thinks just get the HD ver is enough for gaming imo hmm.gif

Errr. FHD is f*cking awesome to be honest smile.gif Soooooooo damn sharp and nice. After using a FHD screen, you will NEVER look back again tongue.gif

I'm using a 15.6 FHD screen so I know what I'm talking about tongue.gif

You got the point.. Actually HD is enough for gaming... If you are going to watch a lot 1080 movies then go for FHD... That's why Y580 come with bluray smile.gif But for me i better watch bluray movies on the TV rclxms.gif

International warranty but Lenovo Malaysia doesn't cover it?  hmm.gif

Erm...I called Lenovo Malaysia and they said US sets are not covered by Lenovo Malaysia.
Actually I posted this before.
So IMO don't get US set, better safe than sorry.

I'm waiting for FHD to be released.
Then I will see the screen to decide to go for either HD or FHD.
I won't be using my laptop to watch bluray though, I will use PS3 instead. tongue.gif

+1...my eyes cant even look at 14"HD screen anymore after using 15"FHD screen, moreover 15"HD screen...however gtx660m can still run battlefield with all ultra seting with aa off....can get around average 25-30+ fps which is quite impressive for a laptop gc...

i seriously dunno what is lenovo thinking by adding a bluray drive for a laptop with HD screen...it's like putting a powerful engine into a kancil...watch oso no "feel"...if can wait better wait for FHD....just so much better for watching movie, games and oso web browsing...

Maybe that mean if there's any hardware failure, Lenovo Malaysia will get the spare part from Lenovo US instead of using their own which mean will took much longer time ala Asus. ph34r.gif

Just want to know, is there anyone using Y580 for long hours playing Diablo III? is there any side impact like BSOD, etc?
