For DDR (Double Data Rate) ram you need to multiply it by 2 from it base frequency. Lenovo Y580 on hand, 9 Aug.295.93 so far the best driver Y580

Man your GPU is throttling.. that's why it not that hot.
Can't see if your CPU did the same or not. Added on June 13, 2012, 8:31 amIs that inside aircond room? This post has been edited by Acid_RuleZz: Jun 13 2012, 08:31 AM |

I have no idea.. should be ok as long as it doesn't affect your gaming experience.
It could be nvidia driver throttling it in furmark or it didn't get enough juice from power supply. I reckon its the former. This post has been edited by Acid_RuleZz: Jun 13 2012, 08:41 AM |

No need to run more Furmark mang.. even my much weaker HD6770M get more fps than urs in Furmark because of the throttling..

QUOTE(Arvinaaaaa @ Jun 16 2012, 08:44 PM) Cant do fullscreen because of the stupiak switchable graphic. 720P and 1080P is out. QUOTE(ytlay @ Jun 16 2012, 08:46 PM) never went over 45c for my main hdd. QUOTE(deepcool0922 @ Jun 16 2012, 08:51 PM) i realize that your GPU core temp very high, but your GPU fan only 50%. If 75% might help you cooling down. But dont know will make noise ornot. Nah.. that just bogus. Can't control the fan and it will spin 100% when both CPU and GPU hit 85c.QUOTE(deepcool0922 @ Jun 16 2012, 08:56 PM) I think you just broke the world record for fastest CPU frequency. |

QUOTE(deepcool0922 @ Jun 24 2012, 02:13 AM) I don't think its gonna affect performance but high heat reduce your HDD lifespan significantly imo. |

QUOTE(skeith @ Jun 28 2012, 07:52 PM) i know its different architecture. but from the basic spec, it is somehow shows that kepler or GTX660M itself use more resource, but giving less performance then fermi GTX670M. Resource? How about, Fermi use alot more power than Kepler but its not that much faster.and again. QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Jun 28 2012, 01:49 PM) |
