Yes bro, enjoying the SGS3 since the day I got it <3 <3
It shoots photos like a D4 although not at D4's 10 fps but 6fps. Shutter is instantaneous too.

DoF depends on focal length and what aperture you use. Therefore, there's an infinite number of combinations for a zoom lens like the 55-300mm.

Use a tool like below;

http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html

For example, for your 35mm lens at f/8, the hyperfocal distance is 25.2 feet. So if you focus 25.2 feet from where you are standing, objects from 12.6 feet to infinity will be in focus at f/8.

Just follow what Jchue says!

If you dont know the distance you can either get a new lens

or

purchase a range finder

https://www.google.com/search?q=range+finde...iw=1560&bih=689

Here you go loads of them!

Aiya, I usually don't take tracking number one... he say today send tomorrow receive one unless some special cases delayed by courier. So far quite efficient.

Nowadays got smartphone and easy to find out the DoF out in the field when shooting. I use the one for Android on my Galaxy Note.
