Mine 1 year old 6 speed. Same like you....get car no sound.....after 700km the music all come out...... what to do Malaysia Boleh assembling our car in Gurun.... wonder Peugeot cars got sounds as they are assembled in the same factory.

As for my car, the dashboard sound comes out after the car is parked in the hot sun then I think the plastics expand & touch each other creating the vibration or the foam they use is cacat one. So far I let it be because I don't want any scratches if they tear apart the whole dashboard.

Really disappointed owning this Kia. After 1 year the condition not so good already. Initially went against advices don't buy Korean car but I think it is true. Jap cars are more reliable even they are boring. I am planning to change end of next year & get rid of this stupid car & change my nick from "fourteh" to "hondteh", "toyoteh" or even "peugeoteh"!

For bros & sis still want to get this car, go for 2.0...... 1.6 power really sucks!

U cant say its bad because it has vibration issues right? u buy it because its the cheapest for its class. No japanese brand can sell at this price. If engine and transmission is still good.... u cant really call it a dissapointment bro....
i remember my friend's vios after 1 month use the gearbox rosak cannot enter any gear. My colleague's honda city will jerk and there is a very loud knocking sound when he shifts from N to D.

i admit the 1.6 is underpower.... went up cameron highlands last weekend.... Even VIVA can overtake me uphill. But how many times we gonna go up cameron in a year.... just a few times only.... overall forte gives a very comfy ride on highways and normal city roads....

lucky mine not gurun made... kekeke... so after 2.4 years i still couldn't find the rattling sound...

so far my 1.6sx gives me 1.75 cents per KM (based on fuel/mileage, not taking from the L/100KM); now the ODO is 3000KM.
