I just got my insurance offer letter for my previous stolen car. It took more than 6 months for the insurance company to complete the investigation. But to my surprise however, the police department is quite fast. I got the report after 3 months. You need to go to follow up with the inspector yourself if you want them speed up the process. For the Insurance, it depends on the which Insurance company and whether the agen is helpful and efficient. My case is I got a very good agen but super lousy Insurance Company

I called a few windscreen shops in Penang and they are quoting me from RM 1000 to RM 1500 (including labor) for an original windscreen from Kia (Korea). Some also told me that there is a cheaper option which is to use local or Thailand windscreen which costs around RM 700 to RM 800 (including labor).

By the way, if your damage is not very serious, a broken or cracked windscreen can actually be repaired for around RM 80 depends on the size of your damage. Although the repair won't 100% cure your damaged windscreen, but at least the crack or broken hole can be filled and it will become less obvious and prevent it from cracking longer.

If you still want to buy the windscreen insurance, make sure the cost of tinting front windscreen (around RM 200 ~ RM 500) is included as part of your sum insured amount.

1st day all seem perfect, after a week, all sound exist. i don't even know where it came from.. but mostly at dashboard area.. my fren's forte is a 1st batch 4 speeder cbu. already 2years+ n don;t hear any sound coming from dashboard...

Any good solution for the problems ? ? ?

car about 1 month. got some rattling sound (on and off) exactly right on top of the right hand side aircond vent.
It's specifically there coz when i pressed on it the noise reduced. It's on and off weirdly. Not all the time.
Went for 1st service @ kinrara. they helped to wash car and vacuum inside.. (normal treatment?).
Asked them to fix the noise told me will take 1 day I . Maybe going back another day.

1) Back Speaker Rattling Sound
- don't have this problem, may be some screws/nuts not tightened, send to SC or if u want DIY, open the door panel and check yourself.

2) Driver side Safety Belt Rattling Sound
- I find that for mine, certain seat position will give rattling sound, kind like metal to metal brushing.
- Open the B pillar cover and tighten whatever loose items. Stick some insulation tape on B pillar to reduce the gap between the pillar and the cover.
-Alternatively, send to SC to rectify, should be straightforward (compare with dashboard rattling)

3) Car Seat "Queak" Sound
- Mine also got this nyek nyek nyek sound (may be we are too heavy), get some silicone based grease and apply on the seat sliding rail. After that, slide your seat to lubricate it.
- WD40 helps too, but it ony lasted for 2 to 3 weeks.
- silicone grease is water proof and last longer.
