I fix it when 1k service. I done in SC (Penang Autocity), 1 time fix only. I think they have experience D. almost every Forte also got this issue.

I believe what u meant is 'Front Active Headrests' right? Not 'Headsets'. Both front headrests got this feature (active headrests)..meaning that, in the event of a rear collision, the headrests will move up & forward to prevent whiplash injury (on your neck). This is a safety feature for a rear collision.

Yes, there is active headrest in M'sia version.

An active head restraint moves forward and upward in a rear-end collision to decrease the space between the restraint and the occupant’s head, reducing the degree to which the head accelerates before making contact. The less acceleration, the lower the chance of injury.

Using a lever-action mechanism built into a seat, the active restraint redirects the force of an occupant’s body as it presses into the backrest to move the head restraint forward

U can't push it, it is designed to be active during course of collision.
The active headrest is not meaning that the head rest can be adjusted to our liking. The one that u can adjust th headrest position according to your liking is called adjustable head rest.

Hey! Just test drove this car today with my mum. pretty decent car for that price. My mum wants to get the ex but i want the SX (mainly for the additional stability and paddle shifters! )

Any points u guys think i could pitch in to my mum?
P/s shes the kind of person who does not care about the car, just getting from point A to B, and at 60km/h max...

1.6 ex is good enough if ur mom drive at 60km/h all the way...
No other points can be added unless u fork out another rm6k extra with ur own money for top-up...

the reverse camera on the mirror is good for her parking... not sure if the EX version has it or not (my guess is no)

ex no reverse camera and yes the camera is damn useful cos our forte rear is high, hard to see even got sensor can be dangerous

Can someone roughly indicate the location of SC at Puchong or around Puchong ? Need to send my car there to fix the rattling sound defects

As far as I know there are 2 SC @ puchong. One is kinrara, if u're coming from cheras (bukit jalil direction) just go straightttt using the road to IOI mall pass Giant and u'll soon reach a signboard that shows "kawasan perindustrian kinrara", turn in and u shld b able to see. Another one is just slightly upfront. the SC is right after IOI mall (assuming IOI mall is on ur left).
