Hi guys. Myvi 1st gen - there is some rattling sound inside the front bonnet when the aircond compressor starts spinning. When the fan stops the rattling sound stops aswell. Does anyone have a clue what is the problem? Worried if it can't be fixed. It can be heard only when the car is not moving.
It sounds like vibrating metal parts. I believe the sound is coming from the front where the radiator is connected.

hi all,

myvi 2006 owner reporting. i need to know if anyone of you who own this old model have install b4 a buzzer as warning in case you have forgotten to switch off the headlamp light after you alighted from your car during day time especially when rain?

according to some accessory workshop i visited, most of them don't do it. even if they do it, they said the buzzer is the loud type and not meant for this.

Do u guys have added this sort of buzzer before ? tq

You mean the Prev Gen Myvi doesn't give you any warning that your headlight is ON when you open your car door after the engine is switched off?

Wow, so far nothing unusual is happening right? Engine bay was wet due to the water level was high. If there's no chok on the engine or something. It should be fine. Just make sure the wires are all fine. Check it tomorrow morning if they car is acting unusual will do smile.gif

i think as long as the water doesnt enter through the air cleaner/filter, nothing should be worried about..water filter is located on top of the engine, should be no problem..and usually if i pass through flood, i will try to use lower gear so the rpm is high, scared if the engine die..haha..and sometime i will turn the aircond off..scared the compressor kong since it is like located at the lower part..

Got it from Weng Heng Tayar in Bukit Kemuning. After trading in my stock rims and tyres, i had to pay rm710 for everything (tyres, rims, center cone)
yes, i'm still using stock absorbers
Btw, picture for reference
