No mirror less can do that, not even with Panasonic's pancake combo.but the af is damn fast!! and low light quality vy nice the best price they giv me is rm2299+ cover+ 16gb class 4 sd Added on October 8, 2012, 12:46 amidoblu, try get at least 45mbps rated SD cards for 20Mp burst shots. Even class 10 will not be enough to clear quickly. This post has been edited by lwliam: Oct 8 2012, 12:46 AM |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Oct 8 2012, 04:32 AM) is this based on specs or your own experience? if i put in a 45mpbs rated card and shoot in continuous mode, there wont be any blank screen and waiting time for my next shot? I can't say for sure for rx100, but that's the case for my A77's 12 fps. You'll have to look for a friend who has the card to test it out to be sure. One more thing, if you're on shooting at high speed and your buffer fills up, and your finger is still pressing the shutter, any card also can't stop you from having slowed down frame rate, in my case, it will drop to 1fps, until buffer clears up. But my screen wouldn't black out though, I'd still be able to shoot at the reduced speed, but I've hardly ever need to hit the limit. If I do controlled bursts, I'll basically never hit the limit with my 45mbps card, press and release the shutter button after 5-6 bursts and press again for another 5-6 bursts and repeat. Gary Friedman bumped into me when I was at Pana booth looking at LX7. The promoter guy talk like flying and I test shot the LX7, then I asked Gary shot with his RX100.
All in M mode, wide open and ISO320(RX100) & ISO400(LX7). The result are clearly RX100 win hand down, in term of speed, color, sharpness and noise level. The RX100 can zoom in to see the eyes, but LX7 have very obvious noise. LX7 have more yellowish, while RX100 have quite correct color. The promoter got nothing to say.... we also didn't say anything but just smiling! ^^ But both of us agreed that the LX7 have good control button and dials layout, and the price is really attractive compare to RX100!!! |

Hi carpathia,
If you have a-mount system + decent lenses, willing to buy a converter for your Nex, and doesn't mind about the size, then go for Nex, or, if you have lots of decent manual lenses, go for Nex with converter, or you have lots of money to buy the 24mm Zeiss to pair with, go for Nex, or you don't mind to use 35/50mm prime, go for Nex, or you satisfy with the kit lenses quality, go for Nex, else, just forget about it. Buy RX-100. |

Hey guys, anyone knows if the screen protector is available for rx100 yet?
Also, do you guys use any form of filter or protection for the lens front? |
