Photography Sony RX100, New standard for compact camera ?

Can someone recommend me a decent location to buy RX100 in Japan? Went hunting around Akihabara today and the cheapest I found so far is ~RM1950 after 10% discount (tax/duty free), includes leather carrying case and strap.
Original target was Panasonic LX7, but dunno why LX7 costs a whooping RM2500 here  More expensive than RX100!Added on October 20, 2012, 11:05 pmAnd one more thing, will RX100 be a good replacement for 5N? just walk around sunway pyramid today... rm2499 with case and 8 gig (class10) still expensive? i am still looking for good deals... p/s - previous picture was damn nice.. |

Hi guys, I'm looking for a much smaller bring-around camera to replace my current bulky Nikon D90 DSLR. Do you think RX100 will be a good replacement in terms of quality?
